Provides exactly what I need
Over the last several years I have had multiple surgeries for spine problems and renal cancer. I was totally bedridden and in pain for 2 years. I lost a kidney and my remaining one is barely functioning. I also gained a lot of weight. I became a vegetarian, but due to my kidney disease I have significant salt and protein restrictions. I make a vegetable and fruit smoothie twice a day and need a measured protein source. The pea powder is perfect. I don’t taste the powder due to the other things in my drinks. I prefer that it is unflavored as that decreases the ingredients. I have lost a bunch of weight and figured out how to do some exercise. My goal is not just to live, but to live and be healthy. I highly recommend this powder. I also like that the peas are sourced from Canada and the powder is made in the USA.

Solid vegan option
My morning breakfast is a protein shake. I eventually got bored of just chocolate or vanilla proteins and needed to add variety to my life which I wanted to do with fruit smoothies. So after a long search I decided upon this unflavored protein and I’m so happy I did! This protein is virtually undetectable in my fruit smoothies (typically some compilation of frozen fruit, a juice or water, yogurt, protein powder). I have not tried it in a drink that is solely just shaken. But this is a very excellent complete profile protein option.

Tastes like dried peas
I bought this assuming that it would taste like dried peas. It does. I love that it keeps me full and doesn't make me bloated, though. I also love that I'm not getting a bunch of "crap" with my protein, just the aminos that I need. Finding the right combo to make my smoothies taste good has been difficult. Banana works really well, though. I bought caoco powder use maple syrup or Swerve as a sweetener with my macadamia milk. It doesn't taste delicious or delightful, yet, but I'm positive I'll figure out a good combination to make it taste good. I'm excited to try some of the recipes on their website, too.

Excellent plant protein!
Love adding this low sodium high quality protein for pancakes, cookies, thickening pudding, staying power of snacks like cottage cheese, yogurt and fruit blends. Adjust the amount of liquid for recipes and boost breakfast and snacks.

Gastrointestinal distress
I am not allergic to peas or pea protein but one dose of this gave me the runs and my stomach was not the same for a few days.

Have to heavily dilute it
I don't mind this product, 30g of protein for 141 calories is pretty solid however unflavored proteins are very sketchy sometimes. I say that because–like this product–it still has a little flavor that's unavoidable. It isn't overbearing but you have to heavily dilute it with whatever you're mixing into the protein. I used carbmaster chocolate milk and cold brew coffee and I needed a good amount of chocolate milk to make it taste good. It also has a chalky texture to it. Overall I do think it's a serviceable product however.

Tasteless- add protein to your protein!!
As a serious runner, my body takes a beating- strength training and/or running daily. I'm constantly pushing myself further and harder, whether I'm training for a marathon or just trying to beat my personal best on my daily run. That's why finding the right fuel is so important, and this Folona pea protein has become a staple in my recovery routine.First off, it's organic and plant-based, which aligns perfectly with my dietary needs. But what really sets it apart is how clean it is. No artificial sweeteners, no weird fillers, just pure pea protein with all the essential amino acids my muscles crave. I blend it into my post-run smoothies with some fruit and spinach, and it's honestly the perfect way to refuel and kickstart the recovery process.I've noticed a real difference since I started using it. My legs feel less sore, I have more energy for my next workout, and I'm recovering faster overall. Plus, the unflavored version is super versatile. I can add it to pretty much anything without it affecting the taste. If you're a runner looking for a clean, effective protein powder to help you reach your goals, give Folona a try. You won't be disappointed!

Flexible bag is a plus!
I am a huge fan of pea protein. It is gentler on the stomach, contains a ton of protein, and is vegan! This protein did not disappoint. It comes in a bag that holds up well yet is flexible, unlike plastic containers that can take up a ton of space. Much like other pea proteins I have used, this is organic, a huge selling point. This means I am not getting a bunch of fillers or chemicals - just the protein I am looking for. If you have never had pea protein, there is minimal flavor as it is not flavored. You want to make what you put in with the pea protein have the taste. So the smoothie base, fruits, etc., will be more of what you will taste. I find this to be a plus! And due to having a more neutral taste, it has zero sugar. Two points:1. Be cautious, as the bag has a freshness pouch. This was hidden, so there is an outside chance it could wind up in your smoothie, so keep an eye out for it.2. From a value standpoint - this protein is excellent, but the price per ounce is a bit higher than some other organic pea proteins I have used. If you want to try pea protein for the first time or don't go through it quickly, this is a great option, mainly because the bag can easily fit in multiple locations.
