These dont dissolve very easily, Ive even put them through the dishwasher, BUT they do peel off easily so for my needs works just fine

(Edited) There wasn't even any residue, the first time. It wasn't a gross goo as it dissolved. I used these every day. A house full of 3 ADHD people, we forget just when something was made. I had to edit. The first time I got these, they worked perfectly. The second purchase, however, doesn't dissolve at all, not even partially. The ink comes off way too easily now. I don't know if I can trust the product. I've had to cover the label with invisible tape so the ink doesn't smear and peel them off when I'm done. Just be aware that you may be getting a crappy normal label where the ink smudges easily, or you may get a useful label that dissolves easily.

These labels are NOT dissolvable. The remaining ADHESIVE is hard to clean off. I have purchased before, and those worked well. It does not appear to be the same product and not what I was invited to “BUY AGAIN”. Very Disappointed. Great permanent label, terrible dissolvable product.

These do not dissolve but when wet the glue does and the labels come right off. No residue left behind.

I'm a repeat purchaser of these dissolvable labels because I use them to label all kinds of foods and ferments! They wash away clean, they're durable until they get wet, the size is great, the color is fine and I will continue using these for this purpose because they work! The only down side is that the lettering fades on them after many, many months, so they don't last like a permanent label would, even though I use them on glass and use a permanent sharpie marker to label them, after maybe a year, it's very hard to read the label anymore.

Part of a quantity that bordered do not dissolve. Even if left soaking in hot water. Do not recommend this product. I have a restaurant and use this type of label all the time. These are vinyl.

The item is not dissolvable I had to buy scouring pads just to get rid. They stick. I have never had this problem in the past

These labels are advertised as disolvable but do not dissolve AT ALL. We have scrubbed them, runn them through the dishwasher and soaked them. They slide off the containers but do not dissolve. Very misleading. Very disappointed.
