While the pad itself is thick and a high quality, the smell from it was horrendous for months. I left it outside over on a drying rack for the first two weeks. It had a patio roof over it so it didn't get wet. There was no discernible difference. Unless you and anyone else around have poor sense of smell, DON'T BUY IT! Note: I had to trim off and inch from the length before I realized that it would not go away. So I could not return it.

iv did a raving review when i first bought this a year ago, loved so much i evn bought for my bathroom loloi rugs. they don't just add the perfect amount of cushion, can still open doors over rugs, slide furniture without rug moving, etc.. but after having these thru very cold months iv noticed(live in old house with old wood floors) these are a cold barrier. i want these for ever room of my home now only... the price is too high. I'd planned to just buy one at a time over the last year...(hav 8x10 in ever room) but, i keep cringing wen i see the price. evn though i know it's worth it. wish these were alil more affordable. post covid.. times are hard for alot of ppl,& anything over 60$ (&not considered a necessity) is something i hav to "save for". so talk myself out of it. so if the seller reads these comments... know that there's the possibility that many more feel the same&if the price were just A LITTLE better you'd most likely sell ALOOOOT more.

I've bought this the last 3 times and they have been great. But this recent purchase has A LOT of odor and VOCs emitted. I've left it out in the sun, or put it by an air purifier the last 3 days and it's just as bad as when I first opened it

Be careful when buying nonslip pads for rugs on vinyl floors! Despite rugs being a necessity on vinyl, most non-slip pads are the kind of vinyl that can stain the floors. These are specifically vinyl safe. They look good and add some extra cushion to my rugs, as well as slowing down slippage. Use double sided carpet tape between the pad and the rug.

We we’re trying to protect our floor by laying down rugs. They were all over the place. I used these and they worked best out of many I’ve tried. What makes them work best is actually hot gluing them to the bottom of the rugs, they almost stay put. But my rugs were inexpensive, so I was willing to try to to make them stay in place.
