Nice flavour, great for cooking
The Harry Harvey Gol Gappe Water is a nice flavoured water that adds a burst of fruitiness and a mild spiciness to your dishes, great for making Pani Puri or other Indian dishes.Quality is good, price seems fine and overall pleased with the product.

Harry Harvey Gol Gappe Water
This product was sent to me to review, as part of Amazon Vine. Below is my own real-world experience of using it.It is well-presented in a sturdy and fairly secure bottle, that doesn’t take up too much space in a cupboard.I wasn’t really sure how to use it, but I decided to mix in a little bit with a curry sauce that was already cooked. It added a nice, fruity flavour, without altering the texture much at all. I would use it again, so I’m going to research what else can be made with it. Recommended.

Good Gol Gappa Pani. 😊
This Gol Gappa Pani is good for Pani Puri, if you don't have the time to make your own.I think it tastes nice and you can always jazz it up a bit if you need to add more flavour to your liking. It comes in a 500ml bottle. Mine has a best before date of 06.06.2024. 😊

Not flavourful at all
HARRY HARVEY Gol Gappa Pani is not what I thought Gol Gappa Pani should be. I love gol gappas!!! This tastes of too much jeera powder and dhania powder. It does not have enough mint and coriander, the two main ingredients along with tamarind in water for gol gappas. Maybe manufacturer's can take note and make a twin pack:- green coriander and mint water with this. Then it will balance the flavours. I would not buy this on its own.

Great for Pani puri!
I got this for making Pani puri: little puffed fried cases filled with a spiced chickpea/potato mix and doused with a spiced water - this is the spiced water. It's quite mild-flavoured with more mint than tamarind which I can barely taste; so I'm docking a star as this is described as tamarind flavour. As I love tamarind, I'll probably add a bit more to this water to make it more to my taste. I also added some to the potatoes as they were cooking which definitely enhanced the flavour. I probably wouldn't buy this one myself in the future, preferring to make my own, but would be happy to use if pushed for time.
