Fantastic robot vacuum!
I had not had a robot vacuum before. My daughter was bragging about one she had bought and how much easier it made keeping the house clean. I decided to buy this one because of the self cleaning part and that it’s got the hair cutting capability. I am elderly and have long hair and a long haired cat. I could not be more pleased. It is quiet and does a fantastic job. The only time it’s a little noisy is when the device is doing the hair cutting and emptying and that’s short-lived… maybe a minute or two. I highly recommended if it’s something that you’ve been thinking about. This particular model is really good!!!

Many issues, especially if you have long hair
This robot vacuum would be pretty decent if everyone in the house had short hair and I only had hardwood floors. It does a good job of mapping the house and does a good job of cleaning hard floors, as long as there are no bigger pieces of debris on them (e.g. a tiny rock that made it in, stuck in the tread of a shoe). There are two long haired adults in my household though. That is one of the main reasons I bought this vacuum. I was tired of having to cut the hair out of my Shark upright vacuum. This vacuum empties itself and has a blade that cuts the hair, and sucks it into a bag! That is one of the coolest things I've ever heard of! Except, that feature does not work at all. Every time I run the vacuum, I have to manually cut the hair off the brush. That's not all! Not only does the hair get wrapped around the brush, it gets wrapped around the plastic part on the sides, which holds the brush into the vacuum. That is a hassle to remove! It also gets so tightly wrapped around the edges of the brush, that I have to use a razor knife to cut it out. Hair also gets wrapped around the side brush. To get the hair out, you have to remove the side brush... WITH A SCREWDRIVER! What a terrible design. Hair also gets wrapped around the INSIDE of the wheel. I thought I'd just pry the wheel away and remove the hair, but it isn't between the rubber and the plastic, of the wheel. It is somehow lodged inside the wheel, in a way that is hard to describe. The vacuum does not do well on very low pile carpet or rugs. Instead of gliding along the carpet/rugs, it skips across them, which makes it less thorough and effective. It also likes to pull up on the corner of rugs and eat them. It typically gets stuck when it does this, requiring human intervention. The software is decent, but not great. The interface looks nice, but it takes too many clicks to check from downstairs to upstairs, and if that is set incorrectly the vacuum won't function properly. The vacuum is terrible at small object avoidance. It will ram into things and push them. If there is a cord on the ground, it will tangle the cord around one of the brushes. You have to do a very thorough pre-cleaning of any room to remove any potential obstacles (like phone chargers). Occasionally you will not be able to properly split a room, that is above the minimum size. If you recreate the map, the failing room will work, but a different one won't split. The ability to set up no go zones works VERY well. I spent a good bit of time setting up no go zones for things like where my phone charger cords are, the cords under my adjustable bed, hanging exercise bands, etc. The robot did a great job of avoiding them. Then, the map of my upstairs magically deleted itself, so I get to set up all the no go zones again. If you have short hair, no long haired people or pets, and no carpets or rugs, this would be a pretty good vacuum. If you have any of those, do not buy this vacuum. I wanted something I can put on a schedule, to keep my downstairs clean. If that worked well, I was probably going to buy a second to do the same with the upstairs. As every run of this thing requires some kind of manual intervention on my part (spending 15 minutes with a razor knife, cutting hair, detangling cords, rescuing it from being trapped, etc., I can not recommend this product. Update 10:22/2025: The robot lost all of its maps and will no longer remap, making it effectively useless. Lowering to 1 star. Would not recommend. Update 10/30/2025: I can still run the robot one one floor, but cannot remap. I need to try to fully reset it when I have the time to remap everything and set up all the no-go zones again. I am afraid this may brick it, though, if it still won't create new maps.

If you have long dog hair, it might tangle
I really love this machine. It helps out a lot to not having a lot of time to vacuum and keep up with it because of the baby. My only thing is that if you have dogs with long hair and the carpet hasn’t been vacuumed in a while it’ll get tangled. On the first run, we had to takeoff the brush and cut out to the dog hair three times in one room and two times in the second room, but after that first few runs and they got all the dog hair out of the carpet, we have had no problems with it. I love that self empties, but it is a little loud when it goes into the dust holder area so if you have little children run it during the day when they’re awake. I love how this works around the room and maps out everything. This is even gotten itself unstuck from a corner that had a cat tower in it that it tried to go underneath and after it did that the first time it hasn’t done it again since. Definitely worth the cost.

In the honeymoon phase but pretty satisfied overall
Edit after a little over a month of usage: * The hair cutter blade seems to do a good job but we help it out by doing a quick brush check at night in case something was stuck * Each week we take the roller brush out and remove any hair that's wrapped around the ends (two teenage girls = lots of long hair from their rooms carpet) * The bag lasted over a month but the app said 40% remaining before it needed a change - we swapped it early due to a high pitched sound (not the normal empty sound) caused by the bag being pretty full when it would go to empty. We didn't see any obstruction anywhere and replacing the bag early caused this to stop, so we'll use that as a sign for next time that the bar is ready to be replaced * On hard floors the robot is louder then it was before, we don't see a reason but assume its a wheel (maybe the small, third wheel on the back that's hard plastic). Doesn't impact functionality, but is noticeable No change in the rating, still doing a good job so far ---------- This is after ~2 weeks ownership and 8 runs (4x per week); I was previously using a Shark Matrix (non-mopping version, suction set to Max for runs) for over 2 years. The setup and first mapping was very easy (I already had other Eufy products and adding a new one to the app was quick); and overall performance has been great. It takes 5-6 hours altogether to finish around ~800 square feet, this includes the charging time in the middle before it goes back out again (we have charge and resume enabled, actual run time is 1.5hrs overall if that helps). I'm fine with the run time to performance value I'm getting, though I'm sure there are other robots who last longer - this is a solid 4.5 (4 stars). Pros: * Suction - I have this set to Light for the tiled rooms, the living room set to "Max", and everywhere else set to Standard. Running the vacuum after the L60, there's noticeably less picked up compared to doing the same thing with the Shark * Smarts - Our Shark would get stuck in bright rooms/spaces, having the windows or door open to let the sunlight in would stop the robot from doing the full map even though it had a memory of it. This hasn't happened to the L60, which seems to actually stick to the map (unless you move something in front of it or it's drastically changed). - I really like knowing that when it's done with a room it's actually done, the Shark would go back to rooms and finish small sections but you never knew which one or when it was going to do this - After going to charge, it's smart enough to only need "x" percent before it goes back out again. Usually it finishes all but ~3 rooms before needing a charge, and while it doesn't need the full 80% it charges up to to wrap those up at least it's not trying to hit 100% before it goes back out again (you can override this and send it early via the app, though it's a manual action and not a setting you change) * App map - the room map updating with the L60s progress in real time is more useful then I thought it would be, especially if it gets stuck and you miss the notification * Spinner side brush - its screwed in, which is amazing. Our Shark would get the brush stuckband have it pop off multiple times a day (rugs were the common culprit) and that can't happen to the L60 Cons: * App split/duplicate functionality - I use the main, Eufy app and was able to do everything there out of the box EXCEPT manage the order of the rooms. If you want to manage the cleaning order of the rooms, you need to use the Eufy Clean app instead; since everything else works (as far as I can tell) in the main Eufy app needing the Clean app seems a bit redundant * Accessory indicators - I don't think the bag change indicator is accurate, at least it feels more like a black box compared to the other change indicators (brush, filter) since you can only somewhat see inside the bag. Not sure how to do this better, but I think I'll find the bag is full before the counter tells me it is (guess we'll see though) * Default empty behavior - Our Shark would go back when it was full, empty, and continue on. The L60 doesn't appear to have this feature from what I can tell, it will try to do the whole house/job without emptying by default (and I have a hard time it can fit all the stuff in the just the robots built in canister). There's an option in the app to change this somewhat and we have this set to empty after 1hr, but there are only two options there (empty based on time, empty based on job completion) and I wish there was a third or that I could trust it wasn't full and still trying to pick stuff up but failing Inbetweens: * The clearance is a bit lower on the L60 compared to the Shark and we have a few cord covers in the house it struggles with (it also got stuck on a raised mat); not a deal but something we didn't think much about before buying (wouldn't have changed our decision however) Unknowns: * How the suction will go over time, will it see a decrease even with new filters and maintenance * How will the battery hold up * Replacement parts cost over time

Edit: BEST robot vacuum that I have ever owned for hair. After several months of use, there is not a single hair that is tangled in the brush. Great job Eufy! Going to buy a second one once they go on sale for upper floor of our house. My thoughts below PROS -The auto hair cutter/detangler is a very unique feature of this vacuum and has withstood tons of my wife's hair with no problems thus far. -Replacement parts are readily now available (this is a very important consideration for robot vacuums) -Eufy app is great. Had no issues defining rooms once preliminary map was made. Haven't encountered any significant bugs. Appreciate the "number of uses" and "time spent cleaning" metrics especially. -Suction power is excellent. Have not noted any issues with it leaving behind anything significant/measurable. CONS -No extra replacement parts are included in the box (a small gripe) -Once, the vacuum got lost and abandoned current task, returning home -As expected, the base station is quite loud when emptying out the vacuum. Don't do this while you are sleeping or there are noise sensitive activities nearby (meetings etc).

Vacuum gets confused randomly and will throw itself down stair. Daily and repeatedly gets "trapped" at the top of one stair but not the other one. After 8 months, stopped being able to suck debris into empty container as it did its run. Changed roller, filter, settings but just left clumps everywhere. Contacted customer service. They will only offer a refurbished unit with no warranty or 1/3 of original price. Which is extremely poor customer service given this is failing before the warranty is even close to finished. Fix your design Anker!!! Previous models were way better than this piece of garbage.

This is an amazing little vaccuum. We have used it for a month, scheduled it, and it messages your cell with details info when something is wrong to fix. Carpet on hardwood is quite hard to manage, so we took them out. If batt is low, it goes home to charge and comes back to finish the job. It adapts to different furniture locations and our pets don’t mind it. No complaints, so far this thing is very good on our hardwood floors. Reminder: don’t leave loose usb cables, shoe laces or other stringy things around.

Great vacuum. But the app could be much more user friendly. It is very tedious, in particular, to split the floor plan map into separate rooms (so that you can set a custom cleaning schedule). And every other function could be a bit more intuitive in the app. Once you spend time figuring it out though, the vacuum works well for intended purpose and advertised features.

What’s Good 1. Effective Lidar System • The Lidar system accurately scans and maps the cleaning area, allowing for efficient navigation and thorough coverage. 2. Decent Suction Power • Suction performance is solid and handles daily dust and debris with ease. 3. Self-Cleaning Dock • The self-cleaning feature works well. With one cleaning cycle per day, the dust bag lasts about two months for an area of roughly 600 sq ft — quite efficient and convenient. 4. Improved App Stability • The app has improved noticeably. • I no longer need to switch between maps as often when moving the vacuum to different locations. • Random undocking issues seem to have been resolved — it hasn’t happened in the past month, suggesting a recent software fix. ⸻ What Could Be Improved 1. Hair Removal System • The hair removal system works only about 50/50. It removes some tangled hair, but not consistently. This feature could be more effective. 2. Map and Room Configuration • Earlier, room divisions would reset after a week or so, merging all areas back into one. This issue has improved but still occasionally occurs. 3. Wi-Fi and App Connectivity • When the vacuum disconnects from Wi-Fi, reconnecting can still be tricky. I’ve had to use the Eufy Clean app to restore connection. • Over 11 months, Wi-Fi disconnections have been rare (fewer than 10 times), but reconnection reliability could be better. 4. Durability of Parts • I run the vacuum once daily, and the brushes and filters tend to wear out faster than expected. Replacements may be needed more frequently. 5. docking random red light • Sometimes when it is docking red light comes on. Normally is resolved by moving the unit and press the home to re-dock.
