Not built well enough.
Smart idea, alas marred by inadequate engineering. The fittings don't form a seal. As a result water leaks slowly from between the fittings (bottle to cap, cap to come) rather than through the watering cone.

Leaks around neck of bottle
No instructions came with the product. Cannot stop water leaking between the product and the neck of the bottle - have tried everything I can think of but it still leaks. Different types of bottle don't even work. Waiting for response from seller as to whether there is anything I can do to stop this otherwise I will be returning the product.

Great idea, but this one doesn't work well, plastic bottles don't fit on the waterer. No instructions supplied.
I liked the principle of this product but unfortunately they don't work as well as I expected. The idea is that you attach a disposable plastic drinks bottle to the neck of the ceramic waterer, which is pushed into the soil and it slowly drips water in to the soil. The problem is finding a bottle that fits. Maybe the bottles that were used in the development of this product were different to those used in the UK, but I couldn't get an effective seal with just the bottle alone.I used a bit of PTFE tape to hold the bottle on and it did work in that the waterer didn't leak but it was annoying and fiddly to attach. This isn't how they are meant to be used, but at least I could use it.There are absolutely no instructions with the waterers. You couldn't give this as a gift to a houseplant lover as there is no indication of how the waterer uses a bottle as a water supply.Disclaimer: I received this product to review without cost, and as you can hopefully tell from the above this is my honest and unbiased opinion.
