These sound WAY better than the competing whistles, which are all very shrill. This one has a much more natural sound like a pea whistle, and the volume setting gives you a good range of adjustment. I use these for archery camps, and would highly recommend them to other coaches. My only issue is that they are rechargeable versus using AA batteries. So I keep 2 of them on hand, to be sure that one will always be fully charged. Ultimately rechargeable is better for the planet, so I don't mind. Just plan ahead.

I don’t know about performance on the playground or in the cafeteria yet, but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the third, untraditional sound AND the variable volume! The 4 different volume levels will enable me to use it inside without hurting anybody’s ears. It’s pretty easy to use, but it would be better if I didn’t have to turn it on. That’s a bit annoying. At the same time, it appears to be smaller than other offerings. I don’t know how the weight feels but it’s about 100-110 g. I’m not sure how that will feel around my neck. It comes with a charging cable, a soft carry bag, which I don’t really understand the point of, and a lanyard. The lanyard came a bit frayed, but I can always get a different lanyard if that becomes an issue for me. I took over a class in January 2026 that had revolving subs: a new one every week after the original teacher went AWOL after 18 school days—all due to four extreme behavior cases with no assistance in the room. As you can imagine, several of the kids are still testing me. I haven’t found much that works to get their attention once they get going yelling at each other. So, while I got this for P.E., I am going to try it during class when they start yelling at each other. Please, don’t judge me! I have the two most challenging students of my 25+ year career in this classroom. I can’t wait for summer, and this will be the first summer I’m taking off in decades due to the stress of this class. I’m exhausted after work every day and often go to bed at 7:30 PM. Yay, whistles…😓 By the way, this is the second whistle I’ve ever owned as a teacher. I tossed the first (regular) one after a week or two decades ago because it hurt my ears to use. I’m really hoping this works out.

I have one of these I received via Vine in September 2024. I saw it went on sale for prime day and I bought another one to have as a backup. I use this as a soccer referee to avoid having a whistle in my mouth, nearer to my ears and affecting my hearing. They have made some updates, which I will discuss below. Overall, very happy with this product. The quality seems to be there. It feels lightweight, but also has a very nice button feel and charger cover. I only find the Mode 1 sound to be useful for my purposes (both on the old and new version). See my video for a comparison of the sound modes. I really wish the Mode 2 and Mode 3 did not have a pulsating effect. This would make them more useable in my situation as a referee. I want to have a continuous sound, not a fluctuating one. The good news is, Mode 1 accomplishes this and that's the one I use. I have reduced 1 star due to the sound fluctuation. New Version Summary: Mode 1: standard pea whistle sound (very similar sound as the original version) Mode 2: pealess whistle sound (sounds more like a Fox 40, but with a bit of electronic edge to it), pulsating pattern to it Mode 3: sounds like an electronic office telephone ringtone, pulsating pattern to it Changes (Pros): The "whistle" sounds have changed from the original version, but only for Mode 2 and Mode 3. See uploaded video for a comparison. New Mode 1 vs Old Mode 1: These appear to be exactly the same. New Mode 2 vs Old Mode 2: This is a nice variation to have as I have used Mode 1 and been adjacent to a field with a standard pea whistle and they can be confused sometimes by the players. This would be similar as switching between a Fox40 and a pea whistle for differentiation amongst nearby fields. Old Mode 2 is a slightly different pitch of the same pea whistle sound. While this is different, it's not a lot different from Old/New Mode 1 and I don't use it. New Mode 3 vs Old Mode 3: This one sounds like an office telephone ringtone. This is very different from Old Mode 3 and if you need a "unique" sound to get attention, this is very different from a more traditional whistle sound. Changes (Cons): New Mode 2 vs Old Mode 2: This mode has a very distinct pulsating rhythm to it where it actually stops and starts the sound. Due to the pulsating, I didn't find this one useful for my purposes. New Mode 3 vs Old Mode 3: New Mode 3 is not something I would use as a referee or a "whistle" sound. It could be good as an emergency beacon sound or something. This mode has a very distinct pulsating rhythm to it where it actually stops and starts the sound. I didn't find this one useful for my purposes. The new whistle is lacking a "cover" over the sound element. I confirmed with the seller that this was an intentional update. It is supposed to increase the volume by 1-2 dB while still being weather-resistant. I haven't verified with a decibel meter, but it does sound louder on the mode 1 at volume 4 in my unscientific testing.

This is very good. I bought it as a gift for my elderly patient, he loves it and doesn't want to put down. It works very well and I like the fact that you can set the volume to what you desire it to be. Battery lasts longer. I am very satisfied.

Gone of the days that you have to blow whistle with your mouth. My wife needed a whistle for school because she deal with kids all the time in this came in really handy she loves it I will be purchasing more of these products. Extremely loud and it comes with different tones really gets the kids attention. Will be by more

Compact, easy to use, and has a decent selection of rings. It was not as loud as I was hoping. The horn has to be directed toward the target, which can be a double-edged sword. On one hand, it gives the person using it some relief from the high noise level. On the other hand, it can make it difficult to tell if the intended clients are hearing it clearly.

This has surprised me too the good. I thought it may be similar to an average regular whistle however it is much better than I expected. I finished charging it and gave it to my wife right away for more self protection. She checks the charge often and again it has barely lost any power. I feel much better with her having this and she not timid about using it like some, including her, are about using mace because you have to practice with them to make sure you don’t spray mace into the wind because it will blow right back into your face too. And just the sound of the taser can startle you. Great buy! They also make a battery version with is probably great as well. I only got this version because you can check the charge, whereas you have to guess with battery versions.

Purchased late April 2024. Faulty late July 2024, 3months later. The whistle is now very quiet (all settings at max.). There is an unspecified ''design feature''. The unit turns off after period of inactivity, so needs to be switched on to use. Normally not a problem, unless being used by elderly/infirm to attract attention of carers.

Works great. Nice and loud, fast charging, all around decent product.
