Opthopatch Eye Patches for Kids - Extra Sensitive Adhesive - Boys' Design [Series I] - 40 Count + 1 Reward Chart

This is the first time that my son has had to wear a patch. This was my first purchase. He is four years old does not like wearing the patch so it takes many times putting it back on after he takes it off to get him to wear it his full hour. He rips it off several times during the hour and I place it back on. It has always stuck right back on each time. A little less sticky obviously but it is not the products fault. It goes right back on and serves its purpose. I have nothing but good to say bout this product.

These are great. They stick well without irritating the skin and my 3 year old loves the patterns they have.

The variety of patterns you get in this box is great. My son started patching when he was 3 or 4 and having options for him to choose from helps this process become a little bit easier. The stick is good until they want to go outside and run around then they start to peel off a little from sweating. I would recommend these to any parent for their kiddo.

Overall I rate them a 3. My son has been using patches for 7 years, our favorite has been Ortopad, we tried these for the new designs and bright colors. 1. Sizing: Fits slightly smaller than the "regular" size Ortopad. They are slightly too small for my 7 year old, but they will work OK. 2. Stickiness: These are not as sticky as Ortopad, which could be good or bad depending on how you look at it. They don't fall off as soon as you put them on, but they don't hold up well to sweat or tears. 3. Designs: Super cute designs- a fun change! 4. Cost: These are cheaper than Ortopad, so good value. I'm not sure if I would buy them again. I will update the review if there are any issues with sensitivity (which we have with the standard ones you can buy at drug store). Decent value and cute designs. Better suited for smaller faces. EDIT: Edited to give more stars. While the patches are a little small, they have not given my son a rash, they did adhere well after the initial one, and the colors are cute. I

The patches we got at the pharmacy started to cause a red rash on the side of my child's eye because the adhesive was too strong. They rash went away after the second day of using it used Aloe Vera gel on his rash when he didn't have the old patch on and it helped the rash. Helps that these are Hypoallergenic too. His older cousin uses the same patch too and he loves it when they wear the same patches. NOTE it does say Hypoallergenic because of the material and the adhesive is not as sticky which I like because it doesn't cause any rashes on the adhesive part. I actually let my toddler wear this while he is eating so he won't touch it. Thank you.

My son was not thrilled to hear that he’d have to wear an eye patch for two hours a day, but since the alternative was an expensive surgery he gave in with as much grace as a 6yo can muster. I looked for a while before settling on these (read the reviews!) and when they showed up 2 days later kiddo was cautiously invested in opening the box and choosing which patch to wear that night. He was delighted to discover the racecar patterned patch and insisted on trying it out immediately. He can generally wear them for about an hour and a half at a time without getting fidgety- which is pretty impressive from our busy little guy. He says they’re very comfortable, and the adhesive is light even compared to a bandaid. He never complains about the patch coming off, of course! Anyway, we highly recommend these- though he says I have to tell you that “they need more car patches and less footballs”. Do with that what you will.

These patches are super cute but don't stick. It always lifts by the nose within a hour. Love the poster it comes with. Super cute. Wish they stuck better

The patch doesn't have a strong adhesive. It keeps on coming out in a min or so..

It easy to remove

Very good product but the plastic packaging over each eye patch is ridiculously difficult to peel apart because the separated pieces you pull apart are SO small there is barely anything to grab onto and get a good grip on. Sounds kind of silly but I am completely satisfied with the product especially since the eye patch is the right size. That was kind of tricky to figure out prior to purchase. When I received the product I thought they were too small.

El pegamento se cae bastante fácil! Para ser de uso pediátrico y lo complicados que son los niños queda muy frágil

Comparado con los que venden en el mercado estos parches son excelentes, tanto en el diseño como con el pegamento es mucho mejor, y como regalo trae un mapa para ir colocando los parches para que sea mas divertido para los niños
