Just unboxed the 50 inch model
As mentioned in other reviews edges had some burs. A file and 15 minutes took care of the burs. It took longer to get the blue plastic rap off. Manual does not include the size of nuts/bolts. That's ok I plan on replacing the bolts on the sides with bolts/wingnuts/lock washers and having a supply of extras when I misplace/lose any. The unit is in three sections, the feed (with flare) then two sections, each with riffles, angled mesh, miners moss and carpet. Feed section has about a 1/2 inch lip to get to the 2nd sections riffles, mesh, moss and carpet. Not sure if this is going to be an issue or not. Section 2 to 3 had a gap of 1/4 to 1/2 inch. I expanded the holes in the carpet, mesh to try and close the gap, again not sure if this is an issue or not. It came with a carry strap and a bag but I got rid of both as when folded it fits in a 5 gallon bucket. It looks to be sturdy enough for my needs.

Very Cool Sluice!
I first had an Issue with shipping but it was quickly resolved by the seller. I got the sluice everything was cool. There was some easily assembly, The edges are kinda sharp and the film on the stainless was kinda difficult to pull off. But all and all a good product. I would recommend the seller put the wingnuts and bolts in a sealed plastic bag so they are not rolling around in the box. But everything was in there.

Good starter sluice
Missing wing nuts and the glue on the low v is all over with a nice gap for stuff to get hung up on. I also sliced my finger lol. Worked well on my first time out definitely needs some modifications!

Best for a profit sluice!
One of these units is fine if you just want to prospect and have some fun. But if you want to make real profit you are going to have to upsize. In the photo are 3 units which make a flare sluice 18" wide and 8 feet long. Anyone who makes new for profit knows a flare sluice is the most efficient design for catching all gold, even the ultra fine stuff. My unit still needs more miners moss, but what you see is what came in the boxes and nothing more. You'll pay a thousand bucks for the "Hog" version available online. This one cost me less than $220.00. Since miners moss cannot be beat for efficiency, I'm already ahead of the game. This unit will soon become a highbanker able to also adapt to a dredge pump.

Great Product and Great Company Support
This is a great portable Sluice box. But just as important you have great customer service and support from the company. They were very responsive to my concerns, kept me updated, and satisfied all of my concerns. The Aluminum Sluice is very well constructed. It includes large riffles, an angled mesh miner's moss, and carpet layers to separate gold from the rest of the stones, gravel, and soil. Good portable size for carrying into the woods on your camping trips and searches.

well worth the wait
well I finally got it. now I'm going to go try it out here. I'm going on vacation out west. go play around for a few weeks. can't wait to try it out. I'll update when I get back quality built though that's for sure! damn easy to set up. folds up. can't ask for more now. all I got to do is find the creek with the gold in it!

Fair sluice
Like the length and portability. Negatives are when you set up. The sections aren't close to water tight. Water goes between them lots. Afraid of loosing material. Maybe have take duck tap and seal them. But a pain. The last section falls more then others. Was missing 2 wing nuts on arrival. The number was another country and got a leave message. Went to hardware store. None had the metric wimg nuts. So transferred to standard on top material bolts nuts. The grates seem interfer with tightening the sections. They come loose alott on use. Would rather had a full length sluice. Also two holes side top fill shoot where water and material can escape.

An incredible price for a good product but it will need revision before use.
The potential for a severe injury is real. These edges have not been sanded down and are like knives. I am not exaggerating. For such a wonderful product that is Affordable compared to other competitors to be out on the market, these people have done some great work but they can spend the five extra minutes to send the edges on every piece of metal. I have never seen such a sharp object shipped and received in the USA before. Well I have, and they were Chef knives. These are very sharp. That is the first thing I would fix. And it will be fixed in hours today and then where it folds in between the seams there is no batting to catch the gold and the gold has potential of falling through. I am going to add a long mat with holes through the center so that there is no loss of gold. I would replace the black mat or add to it underneath. We are going to do that today. It's just as a safety precaution. Those are the only two things I would change. The price of this when compared to competitors is incredibly good and it is a really nice good quality sluice. It is very unfortunate about the edges I cannot stress enough how dangerous this is.
