I was skeptical upon purchasing this. I have had foot pain since I was a little kid. Although not a 100%, this little splint helps. It allows me to walk, minimizing pain from the big toe about 75%. I just received it and tried it on, helps a lot! I have yet to see it i can wear shoes with it though. It is a little bulky, so maybe some wide toed shoes will fit.

Queen of fracturing her big toes here! I bought this to give my skin some reprieve from buddy taping, to sleep in and where when I wasn’t in my walking boot. It felt like it was constantly shifting and never stayed where I adjusted it. It did nothing to stop involuntary toe curling. It is quite bulky and didn’t fit with most flip flops. Ultimately, I wish I would’ve purchased something else.

Seriously the ONLY thing that has worked for me woth a broken big toe and resultant strained ligaments. The steel portion on the bottom keeps your toe from bending down, and that is what I need. I wear it around the house and to bed, and I am buying two more right now. I have NO IDEA why it only got a 4.0. I'd give it a 10 if I could. For reference, I wear a woman's size 7 shoe and it fits great!

This splint did not keep my broken toe from bending as much as I expected. While the material is somewhat firm, it isn’t rigid enough to provide the level of support I needed during the day. I’ve ended up using it mainly as a nighttime protector while sleeping, but I don’t feel confident wearing it when I’m up and moving. One day, I gently stepped down—putting very little weight on my foot—and felt a sharp pain because the splint flexed. It may work for light protection, but if you need strong stabilization to prevent movement, this product may not provide enough support.

This Toe Splint works perfectly for me. It braces my big toe (which is what I needed) and is incredibly comfortable. I even wore it to bed with no issues. However, It did NOT fit inside my tennis shoe so I purchased a Medical Walking Shoe (from Amazon) and they both work well together. I planned to return one but I kept them both.

Others have said in their reviews that this will fit in your shoe. There is just no way. I don't have a broken toe but need to keep the toe straight and I bought it because of other reviews. I'm sure it will help if you have a broken toe but there is no possible way you would be able to fit your foot into a shoe so just beware.

I had a severely sprained, or possible fractured big toe on my right foot. I taped the big toe to the next toe, having had broken toes in the past, to keep the big toe immobile. That sort of worked. But then I saw this support brace and from the reviews and just looking at it,, it looked like it would help. It does work. you slip the front part over your big toe and then use the velcro strap to make it tight (but not TOO tight). Then you tighten the rear portion toward the heel area. There are metal pieces inside it to protect against painful toe movement. I wore it for two weeks and my toe was fully recovered (must have been a bad sprain, not a fracture. Highly recommend.
