Reggie Houser Has the Power (a laugh-out-loud story about a boy who can control minds!) Paperback – 1 Feb. 2024

I read this book to a class of 9- to 11-year-olds and what a delight it was to read! The entire class were hanging on every word, following Reggie's journey towards becoming a hypnotist- with all the ups and downs- and a very good twist at the end!Reggie is a great character: someone the children can relate to. He has ADHD and the book explores how his neurodiversity makes him feel, and how, because he doesn't quite 'fit in', he gets into some serious scrapes.At times thought-provoking, at others laugh-out-loud, and with the 'magic' tricks to try at home at the end of each chapter (which the children loved!), I can't recommend this book highly enough.

Absolutely superb. This was impossible to put down. A much needed read for children. I cannot wait to get this into school.
