Q: What is the difference between certified pesticide free pecans and organic pecans?

The certified organic pecans are jumbo size pecans grown in an orchard. The certified pesticide free are native pecans not planted in an orchard but wild harvested where they naturally grow. The natives are much smaller with more flavor and the most oil of any pecan. Because they are harvested over a wide area, they cannot be certified organic in the usual method, so at the suggestion of the rawfoodWorld.com we had them tested and certified free of eight pages of pesticides. The natives do not require irrigation or spraying. Organic certification allows the use of organic pesticides.

We keep them refrigerated in shell, shell them only as needed, keep refrigerated, package them with oxygen removed, and ship to amazon. They warehouse and then fulfill fba orders on amazon by shipping to customers.
