Sherman OE Replacement GM1200475 GMC Sierra Pickup Grille Assembly

The grille arrived and I was surprised by the condition of it. This is the first time I purchased a used item from Amazon. The condition of the item was just like Amazon advertised, Like New. After moving the clips from my old grille to the new grille, the new one snapped into place. OEM fit!

I was very skeptical at the idea of purchasing this item. After all, for only ~$120 what could one truly expect considering this part costs over $500 from the dealer. Wow, I am 100% happy with my purchase. Not only is it great quality, it looks exactly like OEM with good quality materials used. It comes with the metal clips needed as well. One thing I can't believe is that Amazon was actually able to ship it using UPS and with my free prime 2-day shipping! The UPS guy brought out the package, obviously huge. It's the grill so, it is about 5 1/2 feet by 1 foot wrapped in cardboard and a big plastic bag cover. I was pretty distraught when I noticed a black frame piece sticking out of the bag. Ends up that the corner light pieces are "detachable". Thats in quotes because while they are in fact different pieces they are supposed to be clipped and glued to the frame. I definitely didn't want to exchange it considering the size and pain it would be to order another one. But it turns out all I had to do was clip it in and then use some super glue to keep the headlight piece on, good as new. Note to UPS: take a bit of extra care with these big items please! Besides that little mishap, I am more than satisfied with my purchase. The front of my Sierra now looks brand new again! For the price, you will not find a better deal out there. Note: this is for non-HD 03-up Sierra's (although it will fit 09-02 Sierra's as well, like my 2000 Sierra 2500LD, as I wanted the updated front) Highly recommend if you want to make the front end of your Sierra new again.

the fit and look was perfect. a lot better than the junk grey one it came with from factory. would have been a little nicer had the clips came with it but I just reused them from the original grill. Overall satisfied.

I purchased this grill based on its reviews within. My truck is a 2004 Sierra 1500. First, the packaging was great, the grill itself looks great. Now, the clips it came with are junk. The material is more flimsy than a oe grill. 2 center clips broke. The drivers side clip would not set in place without springing out. I broke the clip off said side taking a piece of the plastic grill with it. So, it dangles freely at that point. The headlights set decently flush, but the turn assemblies are too high in the grill holes.. Gap issues are not perfect. If you care how your truck looks and take pride in it not looking like a totaled mess going down the road, steer clear of this cheap knock off sorry excuse of a factory style oe grill. That old saying "You get what you pay for" rings true in this case!

It's not much worse then what I took off (which was broken by a deer hit), but hard to believe its just cheap plastic they want to charge so much for. Fits perfect and 45 days later it still looks fine and sits tight.

Good fit easy to install

Used this grille on my 2006 GMC Sierra 1500. Cut out the center for an aftermarket insert, but the fitment was as described. You use your retainer clips from the factory grille, which is easily removed with a small flat blade screwdriver. Can be installed in about 20 min. with minimal mechanical knowledge.

Great replacement grill. As you can imagine, it comes in a BIG box. Existing mounting brackets needed a little modification with a file to get it to fit right, but that was to be expected.

Exactly as described and fits better than the original!

It fit perfect on my 2005 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT Extended cab stepside 4x4. I used the original clips even though they sent me metal ones in the package. They where the same ones as the factory ones. The only problem I had was putting on the side clips it didn't matter if it was the factory ones or the new ones they where tough to put on my biggest worry was breaking the corner side of the grill but I was able to get the on. I only broke one side clip thankfully I had another one from the original grill I only had one though as the other fell off a long time ago. Overall it's a perfect fit and looks great. I took one star off due to it being very difficult installing the side clips. Overall great. The first two pics is the old grill the new one is on the truck. I had no gapping issues what so ever everything looks the same. One reviewer claimed that the chrome was falling off or peeling after two weeks this has been on my truck for over a month and is in perfect condition as you can see in the pic. Update: June 9/ 2018- The grill looks fantastic no peeling of the chrome or anything. It looks like the day I put it on great.
