Some fantastic pieces and great value for money.

Wanted to use for diffarent applications but the pieces sent were all the SAME colour of cuts nothing like the photo in the ad, as you can see by my review photo , no point in hassle of sending back but very disappointing big bag but would have liked a mix of pieces not what is advertised .

The media could not be loaded. Mostly just the same 2 colours, as per photo/ video with 1 of 3 did scraps as per pic. Thats not a complaint, just saying what I got in this pack.For the price, it's excellent. Also I have enough scraps to make and repair some projects.I have ordered another batch to compare.

I'm baffled as to why a small number of buyers have complained about the lack of range of colours of this product. Most sofas, armchairs, etc that are made out of leather tend to be brown or other dark colour. This might change in the future as people start exploring other colours, but right now leather scraps will tend to be brown.What you get in a box is dependant on what the company has made, and what the packer picks out of a pile of scraps; which are probably dumped into a large scrap bin. You get big pieces, small pieces, thin strips, wide strips, etc. As a craft person, it is up to you to be creative in how you use the scraps. Getting these scraps is far better than the company simply putting the scraps in a rubbish bin destined for a landfill.As for me. I only just started working with leather - two weeks ago, actually. I've made tow mobile phone belt pouches (one for a Motorola large screen mobile and one for an iPhone 4.7" screen mobile) and a glasses case. These will be sold via a local charity to help people in need. How good is that for scraps.I've now ordered a 5KG box of scraps, so I can make more items for the charity to sell. Note, I donate the items I make so the charity gets all the proceeds from their sale.
