This is a great piece of equipment. Assembly was easy. I love the way that they group the hardware in steps so that there is no guessing - you know exactly what hardware to use for each step. I bought three pieces of equipment for my gym at the same time - the instructions for GMWD were by far the best. The machine is sturdy and well made. The foam pieces are covered by very thick vinyl. The machine moves very smoothly. This definitely seems like a very well made piece of equipment.

Shipping was very fast. Took about an hour to put together, instructions were very clear. It’s pretty sturdy for the cost, seems pretty well built. The adjustability on it is pretty good, you can adjust to the point where you don’t hit any real dead spots, meaning there is no resistance. It doesn’t take up a whole lot of space either which is a big bonus. Perfect for leg extensions and seated leg curls. I would definitely recommend if you’re trying to build your home gym on a budget but still want good quality.

Great compact and versatile machine. Sturdy and well made. Not commercial-grade gym level, but it's not meant for that. Price point is great, and it's solid for leg curls & extensions. It's not included in their marketing, but I can do hip thrusts on it, as well as well as glute kick backs. It's maybe not 100% designed for these exercises, but it works and adds another possible use for it in the home gym. I'm not particularly engineering-inclined, but I was able to assemble this by myself (took me a couple hours, but could be done much faster if you're more versed in assembling things like this.) Huge shout out to their packaging engineers. Everything was well marked & labeled for assembly, and was securely padded/protected for shipping. Takes up minimal floor space and I'm using it daily in my workouts. Highly recommend.

I would say it's worth the money overall. Only issue I have had is when adding my weight and doing leg extensions the padded bar on my shins seem to go a little crooked due to the weight but it gets the job done. I will also say a bigger issue is that the first part of the rep is much easier than the second part but that's not fault of the equipment as that's just physics by using a weight plated loaded machine and not cables. I will say the amount of adjustable parts is outstanding and for the leg holders it's really easy to add and take off. I would recommend this to anyone starting their own home gym.

Works well and gives a great burn during my workouts. It's not commercial grade and never claimed to be. One thing put weights on the back peg, or it can flip forward depending on you work out weight when not seated in the machine.

This took a while to put together with some minor manual adjustment to get holes to align. It works great though!

After using it for several months now, I’m loving this machine! Easy to assemble. Smooth movement during workouts and simple transition from leg extensions to hamstring curls. It has a compact footprint which is perfect for a garage home gym.

Took a while to decide which leg extension machine I wanted to go with. Wanted something durable and adjustable but that wouldn't break the bank. This GMWD version had better reviews than the one that succeeded it, so I went with this one. Couldn't be happier with my purchase. It was pretty easy to assemble, all the parts work, no missing pieces, and fit my space. Would recommend.

This is a fantastic Leg Extension/Curl machine for my home gym. I received my machine with the GMWD logo printed on the back pad and the knobs are in chrome finish. The foot pad/roller seems to be straight now which was a minor issue of the old model. The parts are very well labeled. The shipping box that it came with is very thick and it was delivered in perfect condition. Amazon coupon reduced the price by a $100.00. Overall, the machine is working smoothly and I enjoy every minute using it. I highly recommend.

I really wanted to be able to do leg extensions and agonized over descriptions and reviews before ordering this one. Some reviews showed bending and flexing of key parts and some just said it was great without detail. I ordered a returned unit for cheap and is was a bit dinged up but only cosmetic or issues I solved with a hammer. Even still I had it together in 30 minutes using my own tools. My purpose for the machine is a total quad isolation and exhaustion before I move into squats. I'm 6 foot 3 and 200 lbs. I want to add some info that I did not see on other reviews: 1. This unit is absolutely sturdy and solid. No flexing or bending which you see on some others across the foot pad or at the pivot joint. 2. You can load either 1" or 2" plates on the arm as it comes with a separate sleeve to accommodate the 2". 3. I am 6 foot 3 and there is no problem with the fit. When adjusted, the foot pad is way down at the base of my ankles, and my knees align with the pivot at they should. There is even a little more room to move the back rest further if I needed. 4. The resistance curve isn't as bad as many people make it out to be. The "sun dial" adjustment ring is there for you to dial that in. I see every single review and marketing photo showing the footpad and weight arm locked in line with each other which means horrible resistance - Zero at the bottom to 100% at the top. You use the adjustment to offset so there is resistance all the way through with the weight starting higher than your feet. You should start at about 70% resistance at least, to 100% half way through, and maybe 70% again at the top of the movement. This is for extensions anyway. I haven't looked at it for curls as I don't use those. 4. With 100lbs on the arm, it still runs smooth as butter, but especially with the weight correctly adjusted forward at the start of the movement, it's too heavy in the front to stay upright. That's why the rear pin is there. I added 50 lbs on the back and it's solid. 5. The pins and adjustment hardware all feels heavy, solid, and long lasting. The cushions feel absolutely adequate. Overall I couldn't be happier with the purchase, even compared to cable machines which look awesome and I'm sure have better resistance curves, but for double the money, I don't see the need.
