Industrial sewing machine motor
The Industrial sewing machine motor arrived timely, not difficult to replace and get a proper belt to drive the machine. Might have to get creative in part of the installation, but if one went this far as to order this item, one knows what one was doing. Worked perfectly. Good product.

Arrived heavily damaged. But seems to work
The media could not be loaded. Flimsy packaging, no padding at all. DHL "repackaged tape " all over the place. Holes in the cardboard.The controller seems to work, but the cradle is bent out of shape. And since it's cast aluminum bending it back will likely result in the piece breaking off.I'm posting this, so o can call Amazon to send me a replacement

Better power and functionality than I anticipated
Used this motor to upgrade a cheap 4x36 belt sander. I could barely sand wood before, but this motor let's me grind metal with ease. I love having the variable speed to choose between hogging off material or keeping it cool while getting a finish grind

Waste of money
Motor randomly changes direction of rotation and the button to change rotation on the control banal dose nothing at all just shows an error 01 code on the screen. And less you can read Chinese the user manual won’t get you far.

Automotive upholstery
So far so good much better than a clutch motor I do automotive upholstery and the motor has plenty of power to go through all of my materials much easier to control than the old type motor I was learned to sew with let's see how long it lasts

Better controller parameters list needed
Runs great, but for my application on a small lathe I need to turn off the motor braking for safety reasons. Slamming suddenly to a dead stop will cause the chuck to unscrew. Haven't been able to determine the correct controller parameter for changing that. The included list is incorrect in spots and incomplete. Haven't been able to find a good list yet. Did get it spun up to 6000rpm (the motor rating) instead of 4500 by changing parameter P-01. To get to that you enter 2013 in parameter P-00 first.The pulley shaft is tapered and uses a woodruff key.

Works as described
Took about 15min to switch out. I have an Artisan 797-AB Industrial Walking Foot Machines and wasn’t sure it would fit but it did.Make sure the belt wheels align before tightening. There is no manual. The foot pedal linkage was a great replacement. I would say to just replace your old motor. It is quieter than my old one. Not silent.
