aarke Carbonator Pro, Sparkling & Carbonation Water Machine, Stainless Steel with Glass Reusable Bottle Volume 800 mL (Sand)

The Arrke carbonator pro is magnificent. It works perfectly, and looks great. I purchased the stainless steel model.To get really good carbonation, the water must be ice-cold. I purchased a second Aarke bottle, so that I always have a cold bottle, ready to zap.One drawback for some users is that it is just a little too tall to fit under the standard 18-inch clearance between the countertop and a hanging wall cabinet.

They do not send a cartridge with the unit so once the unit arrived, we had to order a cartridge. By the time the cartridge arrived I was out of town. When I returned home I assembled it and the directions were somewhat ambiguous so I thought that maybe I was not doing as well as I should. . I tried it for about a week and a half. There are bubbles in the water, but not as many as I thought there would be. Also, when I tilted the unit upside down I could see that it is not all stainless steel. There is something inside that looks like it could be plastic or silicone and the whole reason I spent all that extra money was because I did not want plastic or silicone with my water.Today decided that I should return it, but of course the time limit ran out a couple of days ago. I am very depressed that I put my faith in this company and I feel like a loser.

I've used it 5 times so far and I love it! I did a bit of research before this purchase and I'm very happy with the results. The machine itself is beautiful and looks great on the counter.I would say that you have to "press and hold" to hear the buzzing sound of the water being carbonated.The reservoir in the bottom to collect water that spills is quite nice...it does come in handy.I would recommend flavoring your water after carbonating it. I'm buying a second bottle!

Excellent product

bought it because I wanted glass bottle instead of plastic- but then 2 months later they issue a steel bottle for the cheaper sleeker model !- very stylish which is good because it takes up a lot of space and stands out visually. There really seems no justification for charging $350 just to inject CO2. And they include a cloth to mop up the leakage after each use. Probably it's too costly to design a safe home use model for injecting CO2 under pressure into a sealed glass bottle.- so the customer has to clean the spill over.

Love using this, the glass bottle feels so much cleaner and healthier than using the plastic bottle. feels safer to use also.

Purchased two years ago, and the locking mechanism for the slide down lid has failed. I did appreciate the design and supposed solidity of the build quality, but as other users have found, there are parts that just don’t last inside. It is not user serviceable, and is surprisingly complicated inside. Users have reported that Aarke will replace the unit, but the unit eventually develops the same issues. I have run just over three bottles of CO2 for this 400 dollar machine, and it is going to the landfill, which what I was trying to avoid by carbonating at home. If they were to repair these glaring design flaws like the seals and the springs inside that actuate the articulated parts of the machine, it would be five stars.

I used to have the plastic model which worked great but overtime. Those bottles became dingy. These glass bottles look great always and are very easy to clean. the carbonator is attractive but within two months it has already broken.there is an internal mechanism that raises the carbonation chamber. this has broken and wont raise to the start position. awaiting response from aarke on a replacement/warranty service.
