If this type and brand, I don’t know why but this is the best one I’ve bought so far. It’s smooth and fast. Cuts through frozen items like nobody’s business and it’s cheap and great value for the money. Cleaning is exactly what you’d expect from a blender. Easy to use. You can start it up right out of the box. If you’ve ever bought one of these? You know the lids just are what they are. They spill here and there if you shake things or if soap/liquids brim over. Oder: it’s what you do. If you’ve ever bought clean it good you won’t have an oder. Don’t let it sit just like anything else

My wife purchased this blender for her shakes and smoothies. It works very well and is easy to clean-up, she loves it. It is powerful enough to do the job, but compact enough to not take up a bunch of Conter space. Great purchase.

Hammy Beach is cheap, has a light operating motor housed in plastic gears that cannot last for very long. It has a thin cheap plastic blender jar. But sometimes you decide to purchase something with low features and economical cost to bring on a brief stay.... This blender is fine for a time. It is ONLY for a individual serving of a soft shake or smoothie with semi frozen fruits, tiny ice chips and or spinach that has been blended ahead of time. If you want to blend ice cubes, solid frozen fruit, hard items like nuts, broccoli, beets, pineapples, apples, or if your life "requires lots of attachments" and portable containers than buy something that costs a lot more money and will last a long time.

I ordered this Hamilton Beach Portable Blender for Shakes and Smoothies because I did NOT want another device that required a USB charger. This plugs into the wall, and that's what I wanted. I also love the blue color! This works as expected. I don't use ice in my smoothies, so I can't speak to how it processes ice cubes. However, it does seem to have some trouble with frozen fruit. I have to stop, stir, and push the fruit down in order to get it to become "smooth," which is what you want a smoothie to be. Overall, though, I am happy with this and have made a smoothie every single day since receiving it. The product works as advertised, for the most part. The lid doesn't fit as tight as I would like, but it works. I like that I can just remove the cup with the lid, insert a straw, and drink up my smoothie. It's easy to hand-wash, but I have not put it in the dishwasher. Overall, if you are looking for an electric smoothie maker, this does the job. For 25 bucks, I think this is a pretty good deal. It's fairly durable, somewhat versatile, and as long as you wash before using, there are no lingering chemical odors. The smoothies taste great! Not sure of the longevity of this, but so far, so good. Four stars.

I bought this originally for when I got my wisdom teeth out, but now I use it every day. I just throw it in the dishwasher and it usually comes out clean. Like anything else, if you leave it out for a few days, you may have to soak it first before putting it in the dishwasher. The lid did end up cracking on the sipper part (probably because the heat of the dishwasher). But I ordered a new lid from the company's website and it has been working great since! For the money, I think this is a great buy

It works, that’s about the most you can say for it. . Doesn’t have a lot of power nor does it hold much liquid. Speed is not fast. Also the gasket keeps getting twisted. Finally broke. Almost cost as much as blender. Last long enough for return window to run out.

Works efficiently even though it takes time,plus the color is very adorable and I think it's cool you can change the color of the container.

Compact size, easy to use and to clean. I use mine every day and it does a great job. I use frozen fruits bought in bags, a banana, the half a cup of milk as suggested and in seconds I have a delicious smoothie.

This is a easy to use and to clean blender not to big not to small. I got the blue one the colour nice. It blends well.it makes about two cups Love it.

It's perfect , works great for my smoothies

It's a good little machine but made cheap and the thing I dont like is that you need to keep pushing the button for it to blend. There is no push and go option.
