Gave it a try, made me smile
I have been eyeing out the TipTop EZ bipods for a very long time. And during that time they did go up a lot in price, maybe double of when they originally started selling on Amazon. If I remember early 2015, they were $25 or so for the 6-9" pivot/pan versions. Also, finding any review on TipTop bipods is like winning the lottery and it made it very frustrating when trying to make a decision on whether to purchase. Besides the company's youtube.com reviews and amazon customer reviews, I could not find any popular outdoor or firearm forum that I found that has a review on TipTop Bipods. Finally decided to give it a try. Overall I am impressed with the overall quality and functionality of this bipod. One thing that my bipod did do was with the legs. With the legs extended, I folded it up and one leg closes from the shock of closing. I'm sure it would be fine if I had it tightened, but it made me wonder how it would hold up when firing centerfire rifles.Took it to the range to shoot on my Savage Trophy Hunter 270 Win. Sent 40 rounds down range and the bipod held and did not collapse. I am satisfied with this bipod for bench shooting or with lower caliber rifles. As far as having it on my rifle for hunting, I will stick with Harris, until this proves otherwise and I can beat it up in the rocks and bush.I wish they made notched leg versions, but for the price I am satisfied for bench shoting

Good Pod
I hunt and do some precision shooting for a police department. I like this bi-pod. Not as expensive as the Harris, but has the same features. The bi-pod is very secure when attaching to the sling swivel stud of the rifle and allows for the secure attachment of a sling. This bi-pod feels solid and seems to be holding up well so far. i have it mounted on a Mossberg MVP Predator in .223. Not sur how it will hold up to heavy use, but the average recreational shooter/hunter will find that this bi-pod is very stable and should give years of service. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I have only had it a couple of months and need to evaluate over time.

Great initial quality.
I don't have any other bipod experience so this will be strictly on an individual build quality.First off I'm pleasantly surprised at the initial quality for the money. No rough edges and the paint is a nice satin black. The logo is engraved in the frame but is subtle and isnt obnoxious. You can tell that the pieces weren't just cut, formed, and slapped together, there's actually a refining process. The legs have a good, positive snap to them when opening and closing. You don't have to muscle the around and worry that you'll rip the swivel stud out but there's confidence they won't collapse on you unintendedly. The legs extend nicely and retract under tension of an internal spring. There are thumbwheels to lock them at your desired length. There are only two plastic elements to this bipod, the feet and a rivet / connector piece near the center. The rest, including even the thumbwheels is metal.Advertised weight: 12ozActual weight: 11.5 ozUpdate: A couple hours of use and it seems to be as solid as I would expect. Very happy with the purchase.

Bipod was not level
Unfortunately this bipod didn't work out for me. I really liked the screw function which allows you to have unlimited length adjustments between the 6"-9" telescopic space, but the bipod was very uneven. Out of the box one of the legs was attached unevenly which made one longer than the other, so I was constantly making adjustments to correct for this. I'm mechanically inclined so I usually just modify the product, but there was no way to bend the leg or adjust the mounting for a proper fix. The bipod was usable, but not as convenient as I'd hoped. I would recommend getting a swivel bipod in which the rifle can turn from side to side in order to level on uneven terrain without many adjustments to the leg lengths. Otherwise this product was sturdy and functional, however just not optimal considering the other options in its price range.

Good affordable bipod
This is a good sturdy bipod that I originally got for my Remington 700 .270, but ended up putting it on a .17 Savage B Mag. Either way, it works. The only thing that I would change is the fact that the bipod is not incremental in height adjustment. By that I mean it's either 6 inches or 9 inches. I have other bipods that allow me to go 7 or 8 inches in addition to the 6 and 9.This is something I overlooked prior to ordering, but honestly it isn't enough of an issue that I wouldn't order this again. One thing that I do like about it is that it has a place that you can still put your sling on your rifle, which is a feature I wanted.Overall, a good stable bipod made from durable materials that will most likely last a long time.

Works as advertised
A couple of years ago, I bought one of these (for my son's rifle) that also has an angle adjustment on it. I thought I was getting another one but this one doesn't allow any twisting of the rifle to level the scope / crosshairs. No matter, I bought this mostly for bench and prone shooting at the range, and it works just fine. If the bench is a little uneven, I just adjust the length of the legs to compensate.
