This would be a good book if there were not so many typographical errors. These errors begin at the start of the book and become more numerous the farther you get into the book. The author may know this material; however, that knowledge is overshadowed by the lack of proof editing completed prior to publication. Moreover, it reads like a college research report without any references. No, I would not recommend this book to anyone; it is a waste of time and money, in its current form. I would suggest that the author pull it from publication, review it and make much needed revisions. Then let fresh eyes proof edit it, address any further issues, proof edit again and only then release it for republication.

Short and succinct read on lavender. Not as detailed as I expected for a comprehensive guide on growing this lovely herb.

As one reviewer wrote---this is a pamphlet, not a book. The information contained is not comprehensive. It's general info with a lot of copy mistakes. Definitely not worth the $8.00 I paid for it. This is a disappointment.

I downloaded this book for my nan because she had no idea how to grow lavender, and by golly is this the best option for lavender growing in e-books I've ever seen. Its affordable and just as detailed as any other lavender growing guide on the market today. My nan is now swimming in lavender. She literally needs a guide on how to stop growing it at this point. Very informative

While there are some valuable points mentioned in this book, it is definitely not as comprehensive as you think when you read the title "... a comprehensive guide...". It scrapes the surface of areas to consider but it's step one of a thousand. If it's a simple introduction to growing lavender that you're after, then it will be handy.

Sadly disappointing, very expensive, with postage cost me nearly £10. Only 39 pages, very spread out print. No photos, illustrations, or diagrams. Information contained can be taken off the internet for nothing. Don't waste your money. I wanted a comprehensive book about growing lavender from seed, this book told me nothing I did not already know. The lovely gloss cover shows you can't judge a book by its cover, the content of this book could be put together by any author in just a few hours.
