Excellent value – genuinely surprised by the quality for the price
I picked up these Under Armour UA Charged Surge 4 mainly for casual use – walking, quick trips to the shop, and driving – rather than running, but first impressions are very solid. Comfort-wise, they’re spot on straight out of the box. No break-in needed at all. The cushioning is really soft – almost like walking on a cloud – and I’ve had no rubbing or pressure points, even wearing them for a few hours at a time. Fit is good too. I normally wear a size 11 but went for an 11.5, and they feel just right. I’ve got fairly narrow feet and still have plenty of space, so they may come up slightly wider, or it could just be the half size up – either way, very comfortable. They also look better than expected. My 9-year-old actually pointed them out and said they looked expensive (which he’s never done before), and I’d agree – they definitely don’t look like a £20 pair of trainers. In terms of performance for everyday use, they feel stable underfoot and breathable enough that your feet don’t get too warm. At £21.99 these are an absolute bargain. I’d happily pay £50 for them without thinking twice, and I’m already considering picking up another pair in a different colour. Only downside so far is that I’ve only had them a week, so I can’t comment on long-term durability yet. Overall: Great value, very comfortable, and ideal for casual wear or light use. Would definitely buy again.

Not just running shoes …
Very comfortable, meant for running but I like the wide fit and low impact for walking. Nice looking on or at least I think so, taste in trainers is so personal. They would be good value at £50 full price but got these at £25 so bargain

Great value gym trainers – comfortable, stylish and worth it on sale
I’ve been using these mainly for the gym and honestly can’t fault them for the price I paid (got them half price, which makes them even better value). First thing I noticed was the comfort — they’re lightweight with a good amount of cushioning, so they feel great for general workouts and walking between sets. I’ve used them for weights and light cardio and they’ve held up really well so far. They also look good, which matters to me. You get that Under Armour style without paying premium prices, so they’re a nice middle ground if you care about brands but don’t want to overspend. That said, I probably wouldn’t use them for long-distance running. The support is decent, but they feel more suited to gym sessions and everyday use rather than serious running. Overall, for gym use and casual wear, I’d definitely recommend them — especially if you can get them on offer. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5)

Exceeded my expectations!
I'm fairly new to the running game so I thought I'd buy myself some nice comfy shoes! These had good reviews so I thought I'd get them! First impressions... Very light at just over 300g (see pic) and nice and wide for foot stability I guess? They feel quite flexible too and they seem to absorb impact quite nicely! I've tried to take a picture of the material on the front - it's nice and breathable so should help with getting super hot feet! Durability will be a test of time but they feel pretty decent quality to me! All in all, for the price I would definitely recommend these!

A pretty decent budget running shoe that just lasts and lasts.
My first pair of running shoes. Did they make me any faster? I doubt it. But they absolutely do make my runs more comfortable! Quite a few people have mentioned durability and grip issues with their's but honestly, on dry pavements and roads, they're absolutely fine. I've put 950km (590 miles) on mine in about 5 months, and the tread is probably worn about half way to the point i'd feel like they'd need replacing - I need to replace my Salomon hiking shoes after about 600-750km to put it into comparison. So these should easily last 4-5x longer! Happy with the styling - i'm not big on bright standout colours so the all black design is perfectly fine for me. The extra thickness in the soul took a bit of getting used to, and the shoes themselves took about 2 weeks to break in properly. But other than that, since i've kept them dry, they still look fairly new, which i'm surprised at. A point of note on the sizing - the front of the shoe is quite wide and i've noticed they can be quite noticeable using them in tight spaces or on my bike. I've also started using them as a comfortable shoe after long 20-25km hikes in my Salomons that cost 3x as much, so that should tell you everything you need to know. All in all. A half decent budget shoe that i'll probably buy again.

Comfortable and look great!
Bought these while on offer and they are an absolute steal! Tried them on for size I a sports store, then got them on Amazon at a great price, but even at sub £40 they are well worth it! Comfortable, breathable and feel extremely comfy. Good grip and made from a nice light material. Well worth the money. Will be buying another pair in a different colour soon enough!
