Not as good as the original filters that came with my air purifier
I've ordered these a few times now (I have 3 air filters). The price is great, but the oder control isn't. The original WINIX filters took cooking smells out of the air better.

Odd Smell, Mediocre Quality
The sheets have a chemical smell when you first use them, but it's not too strong and goes away with use. This isn't a good thing though, as activated carbon is scentless, and is supposed to absorb odors, so whatever they were exposed to/treated with/made of is now in my air.The sheets don't have the same density of activated carbon as the OEM sheets, I would not recommend using these as your main VOC filter in the WINIX 5300-2. Put them in front of the OEM sheets as a "prefilter" to keep the OEM sheets dust free. I would even wash them and just use them as an open cell foam dust prefilter.I'm throwing these out and am now using the ALTEC filters for the Honeywell HPA300, which are cheaper and have more carbon on them. Also no scent. You just need to trim them down a little to fit the WINIX.
