I have gotten this variety of tea from several sources. I love the smokey flavor for a change. Some sources have a very weak smoke flavor, but this one is ideal for me. Great black tea with just the right amount of smoke. I have also paid a lot more for this variety, so this price is a bargain for the quantity.

The smokiness is not subtle, kinda kicks you in the nostrils as soon as you open the bag and doesn’t dissipate in either smell or taste after brewing. I would immediately return if I could.

This is my morning tea. I've tried many other Lapsang Souchong teas....kind of mediocre. This one is good.....not superb, but good!

I do not to reviews much. I had to come back to review your tea. This is the absolute best Lapsang Souchong tea I have had! I have even put it in my salads at times for a little crunch. It is absolutely delightful! Please keep carrying this on Amazon. It is frustrating when companies pull their item off of Amazon. I bought two bags when I got this for this reason in case I couldn't find it.
