I checked my orders and found on for rice pilaf an add on item, two packages for $3.79.

I have only eaten this rice in a casserole or in soup. I did not notice a sweetness.

After checking on Google, it said rice is gluten free and wheat free so it is suitable for people on a gluten-free diet. I hope this helps.
