HPE must have listened. Fan issue no longer an issue!
A coworker of mine ordered the original 1930 24-port PoE switch when they were released and mentioned right away how loud the fan noise was. For context, he had his switch mounted in a rack on the wall in his basement and could hear the fan noise from upstairs in the living room. I was a bit apprehensive about ordering this, but the PoE was something I needed. I actually ordered a noctua fan just to prepare myself to swap out the fan. As soon as I got the switch, I powered it right up and noticed it was DEAD silent. I gave it some time to boot and went through the setup process and it was still very very quiet. I actually had to put my ear next to the exhaust to hear anything. I was shocked! I would guess that HPE had enough complaints about the first version that they fixed the issue by adding an additional fan instead of relying on just one. Overall, things have been great. I would highly recommend!

Easy setup
Works great. Easy setup, nice clean GUI. Runs 3 APโs and 4 POE cameras with power to spare.
