Artero Double Flexible Brush (2 in 1) (S - Nature Collection)

I usually don’t write reviews, although before buying a product like this, I always read them. Problem is, you never know if you can believe them. Well, you can believe this. I have a one year old mini Goldendoodle who I swore would like being brushed and taking baths…and she did. Until she was hit by the sprinklers and I missed a few nights with the brush. I knew nothing about Matting, I always had mutts who were really only brushed because they shed. So when my sweet puppy started to growl and snap at me when I brushed her, I was kind of clueless. Long story short, we had a major matting crisis and no matter what I did, I couldn’t get it under control. Worse part, she would no longer come when called. Like she was afraid I was hiding one of those dreaded de-matting tools behind my back. I had no choice and the groomer confirmed, we had to shaved off her hair……. and a lot of her personality. Now I was really determined to keep her matte free, I purchased every brush, tool, conditioner and shampoo that promised to prevent or control matting. I tried them all,...when I could catch her. She was pissed. Growled and actually hurt my hand. This is not a mean dog, she is the sweetest thing ever but, I was causing her pain. I compare it to my grabbing the anesthesiologist by the lapels of his white coat, when he told me they were going to let the epidural wear off so I could help push. I am also the sweetest thing ever, But I digress. So their I am, with a shaved dog trying to brush her to prevent any matting, and she won’t let me near her. I’ve been slowly working on gaining her trust and have been able to give her a quick pass with the de-matting tool and her metal comb, but only if I put her on a table with a leash., but no brush. She would snap and growl when I tried any one of the 5, “best brush for your dog”. Until, Monday, June 20th, this little two sided brush was delivered by Amazon. My first reaction was, this is it? I figured, what have I got to lose, other than more money. So, we played and went for a nice long walk and when she was tired and laying next to me on the sofa, I picked up the brush and ran it over her coat. She didn’t move. I tried it again, she moved, but to a more relaxed position. Fast forward to Wednesday, she doesn’t run away when she sees the brush. She let me brush her for a pretty long time last night and this morning. It’s a miracle. I believe the secret is, it’s flexible. . I don’t think it pulls the hair as much, but, I’m just guessing, I only know this is the first brush my puppy will actually tolerate, no growling, no biting and her coat looks and feels much better. This brush is brilliant .

If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would. BEST BRUSH EVER!!! The black side is for getting mats out and boy does it work!. Before I'd have to spot shave the mats out. Now I just work at them gently with the brush and they work themselves out! The Grey side is fantastic for brushing many coats, especially doodles, poodles and all the curly types. I recommend this brush to all my coworkers and I consider this one my best purchases and investments!!!

THE ONLY BRUSH I USE TO REMOVE STICKERS!!! Here in West Texas, we battle monster stickers and fox tails. My mini aussie is low to the ground and constantly picking them up. I use the wider toothed side of the brush to remove them by gently working the tangled hair in all directions. This brush breaks the sticker into small pieces and traps it in the bristles. It works SO well that I bring this brush with me when we go hiking or trail walking. Removing hair from the brush is easy with a wide toothed comb by combing the trapped hair up from the paddle. The size is perfect and allows me to brush in small places like behind her ears. The length of the bristles are long and easily works through her undercoat. I use this brush everyday for at least a few minutes to prevent mating and keep her clean. I'm very happy with my purchase and have had zero issues after using it consistently for several months.

My havapoo's back legs were covered in small mats from rolling around on the carpet and nothing was working to get them out. He cried, he ran away, he kept rolling on the carpet and making it worse. I've had slicker brushes before but I the reviews were so good on this I figured it was worth the cost to try it, I was desperate. And it worked like magic! He still didn't love being brushed but with the help of some trainer treats I got him to stand still and he never cried once as I brushed all the knots out like without the need for a mat cutter or even detangling spray. I can't believe how easy this was. I think it's the fact that the bristles are attached to a piece with give that's separate from the handle. This allows it to pull through the knots more effectively and with less discomfort to the dog. Can't recommend this brush enough!!

I was expecting more from this brush. It's good but so are many others. Using it on a maltipoo.

Definitely works well to help keep Gimli’s hair tangle free and looking good! Only downside is that this is a replacement for an earlier version that had a blue plastic handle. We felt the blue handled one was a bit more ergonomically friendly. The straight bamboo handle is nice but not as easy to manipulate. But overall we would recommend this brush, especially for dogs with “hair” as opposed to fur. Not sure if the bristles would be strong enough or long enough to penetrate a dog with a thick fur coat.

This brush is very nice to use for a small dog. It does not pull my dogs hair out like my old brusheds did. It is very flexible and soft to use on my Poodles hair. I would purchase again if it broke or needed to have a backup brush. I like the price and the product. I would recommend for a small dog. The bristles seem softer than my old brushes. Threw them in the trash. Great Find!

Will dematt ; but be careful that you don’t scratch your dogs skin . Read the instructions. I would definitely buy this product again. It is a high quality brush and is worth the money.

Ottima spazzola, esattamente come descritta dal produttore per materiale e dimensione (io ho acquistato una taglia m per un cocker). I due lati differenziati per intensità svolgono il lavoro promesso: il lato grigio con i denti più morbidi per le spazzolate di ordinaria manutenzione e rimozione del pelo/sotto pelo in eccesso, il lato nero con i denti leggermente più rigidi e fitti è ottimo per i punti più difficili e per sbrogliare eventuali nodi o togliere i residui post passeggiata. Era da tempo che cercavo una spazzola così, dopo anni e mille acquisti non pienamente soddisfacenti, sono contenta di averla trovata e in generale di aver scoperto il marchio artero tramite Amazon. Per me il prezzo è giustificato e rapportato alla qualità: la spazzola è maneggevole, solida, i denti ben inclinati e robusti, la particolarità è che è flessibile quindi segue il corpo del cane ed evidentemente questo fa la differenza perché non graffia e non tira. Il mio cane la gradisce molto, ne abbiamo provate tante, ma con questa ha cambiato radicalmente atteggiamento verso il momento toeletta!

Mon chien n’aimait pas du tout être brossé. J’ai essayé pas mal de brosse. Rien n’y faisait. Et celle ci, miracle, il ne me décollait plus pour que je le brosse. Démêle parfaitement, en douceur. Enlève le poil inutile pour l’été. Mon chien est un montagne des Pyrénées, Patou. Donc grand avec beaucoup de poils.

Mon cocker avait d'énormes bourrages sur les 2 côtés sous le flanc (le sous poil fin s'emmêle et finit par former juste une énorme boule très proche de la peau et inextricable). j'avais essayé une carde "plus classique", la pince coupe noeud, ... et pour être honnête je n'y croyais plus trop. J'ai testé la brosse dès que je l'ai reçue et en 30 minutes j'ai pu venir à bout des noeuds. la technique est de le faire progressivement mèche par mèche et d'être patient. Le côté souple de la carde contrairement à ceux qui sont rigides permet de suivre la forme du corps en exerçant une pression juste ce qu'il faut à la base du poil. Ma chienne n'a pas trop bougé, à priori ça ne l'a pas mise mal à l'aise. Bref je recommande et surtout n'attendez pas d'avoir des noeuds comme moi, ça reste le meilleur conseil :-).
