Total Possession: A steamy billionaire romance (The Dufort Dynasty) Paperback – October 11, 2022

This was my first read by this author and certainly not my last! What a story! So much goes on, your head will spin! It’s a story of discovery and coming to terms with who you really are. Hunter is a Dominant, but because of his family, has to keep it a secret. He is all alpha and swears he will never have a full relationship. Then one day, Addison walks into his life and throws his world off its axis. She is a beautiful, divorced young woman who wants to explore, but has been made to feel it’s wrong. When she meets Hunter, he ticks all her boxes, but she is hesitant. Can these two people who are really perfect for each other, be together? Their chemistry is smoking hot and I loved their interactions. I truly enjoyed this steamy story!

The main characters met previously, about a month before the start of this book. There was attraction from both parties but theywere avoiding each other. He's a closet Dom and she a closetsubmissive. She's ashamed of her kinky side and wants to keep that part of herself hidden. The H embraces his kinky side but needs to keep it hidden from public view so it doesn't hurt his family business.Hunter was the youngest of the three brothers, and the director of sales for the global Dufort hotel chain. He's a billionaire andthe last single sibling. He's 28 years old.She's divorced and has a daughter. She's 29 years old and the daughter is 6. She's a marketing manager for a wine company.For the first 40% of the book it was a lot of the hot/cold, shouldthey / shouldn't they drama. I found this a little annoying. Even the H was annoyed with himself because he couldn't make up his mind what to do with the h.Overall, the story was good. I hadn't read the previous books in this series but that didn't detract from this book. It could be read as a standalone. It did end with promoting the next book in the series, which I am going to sample. This book is good enough to read once.

I would rate Total Possession and Hunter a ten and a fire extinguisher if I could! This book is smoking hot! This is the kind of book that makes you stop and go, “hmmmm…that is hot,” and it makes you curious. I didn’t want it to end! I read this book straight through, because I couldn’t put it down once I started. It was non-stop action, and OMG, the humor had me bursting out laughing! Hunter Dufort upholds the family hotness tradition and adds layers on top of layers. The women in the Dufort family are special, too! They all tame those confirmed bachelors, and then hang on for awesome rides. Oh, and there is a bombshell dropped in this book! Can’t wait for the next one!

I can deal with some poor sentence structure and a little bit of sloppy editing, but I cannot deal with the wrong man’s name being used in the story!

Awesome story. I really felt bad for Hunter, he was always getting put down by his brothers. The intricate plot of Hunter and Daddy was great. Adding the mystery of Jackson had another layer to it.

Hunter Dufort was known in his family As the one with sexual dominant. He enjoyed being a Dom. Knowing his lifestyle Hunter knew he could never have a real relationship. Nor did he want one until he met Addison. The single mother & best friend to his older brother's fiancees'. Hunter didn't believe he could have such a lifestyle and Find happiness considering how his father cheated on their mother. However there was something more than just to fulfill & control Addison. Could Hunter feel love?Addison has only been a single mother for abt a year. Her divorce was due to sexual needs not being fulfilled. To her Ex Rod made her feel ashamed, for wanting more than the Vanilla needs. During their separation Rod decided to shame her by publicly mitochondrial to their friends & her own dad what she liked. She lost everyone & was ashamed of what she wanted. Being a mother she shouldn't have kinky desires. Why was she so attracted then to Hunter? Could she have both Love & a passionate sex life? Read this novel if you're interested in the DOM/SUB fantasies. The author writes in great detail this lifestyle. It also discusses what people hide to have acceptance of what they desire. It's not my scene however that characters are honest & interesting.

I want to start off with saying, "WOW"!! This book grabbed my attention from the very first page to the very last page. I read this book in one night. I just couldn't put it down. It is beyond HOT when it comes to the sex and it definitely is not "Vanilla" sex in this book. I have read the first two books in this series which I absolutely love and this one joins the others as my favorite series of books. All three brothers are sexy as hell, although Daniel is my favorite. For those that are following this series there are two huge bombshells at the end of this book. You must read the epilogue and Chapter 1 of the next book at the end of this one. My jaw dropped. For those that love Daniel and Harper you will love it even more. This book also has a lot of comedy in it as well just like the first two. I have come to care for all of the characters in these books and I hope she doesn't stop at the next book. It's been a really long time since I've read a series of books which has made me grow to care so much about the characters. You must read the first two books as it compliments this story very well. You just have to love women that successfully tame wild, badboy billionaires. You must join her Facebook page as well as her website.
