ASICS Women's Gel-Nimbus 24 Running Shoes

I love these running shoes. I have purchased many pairs of ASCIS running shoes over the years and I have always been pleased with them. Good quality and long lasting.I love the deep purple color of these shoes! They are very comfortable, lots of cushion.I will caution that these shoes run small. I normally wear a 6.5 but I always get running shoes one half size up. I ordered 7 as normal, but they were too tight. I ordered the 7.5 and they fit better, still a little snug but I feel they will be fine with a little wear. For reference, I do have somewhat wide feet, and sometimes order wide is shoes, but not always. For example, I have learned that every pair of Nike's I have every tried are too narrow for me, I have to get wide. So if you have a pretty narrow foot, then your normal size may fit fine.

Gel Nimbus has been my 1st choice for over 10 years. Every year has it's ups and downs however, for me, the Gel Nimbus 24 has been the perfect shoe. This is my 3rd purchase and I look forward to successfully breaking in spring training/running. My foot is narrow in the heel and a standard B width across the toe box. jWith Balega socks the fit is perfect. The shoe doesn't ride on my heel, the toe box is very comfortable with enough movement without sliding around. Good arch support and enough "give" in the whole shoe makes it most comfortable for shorter workouts or longer runs. I wear a size 9 in a standard shoe. In this make/model, I wear an 11. So make sure to get properly fitted. I love the 24!

Comfortable and great quality

Overall my first impression of this shoe is great.The color is much more vibrant blue then I expected. I love that. The shoe fits like a glove and it’s got a lot of padding.Things I don’t like: the tongue of the shoe is made from a stretchy fabric. It’s weird. Im not a fan.The toe box is very narrow. Im generally 8.5 in all ASICS. This is the first time I’ve had to go up with ASICS. I went to a 9 but probably should have gone to a 9.5.Despite how comfortable this shoe is, my first run was not so stellar. The excessive amount of padding on the heel put strain on the ball of my foot. Hopefully this subsides after I break these in.UPDATED:After almost 6 months of use these have held up very well. They broke in nicely. At about 6 months the padding is gone and they’re now squished pancakes. The right shoe fabric is starting to fray and wear a hole, but it’s not bad. I generally get about 6 months out of a good shoe. I run very high mileage. Good buy will probably order another pair.

It's light. it's provided good cushion. It's a bit smaller in size. I bought 1.5 size up from my normal everyday shoes.

I have been wearing Asics Gel Nimbus for years. They're not cheap and I baby them. I don't wear the same sneakers all the time. It's more a color and style thing with me.I have a pair of Gel Nimbus that are YEARS old and still look and feel great.Yes,you should size up 1/2 a size.Yes, they tend to be more narrow than some other brands.Yes they revise this style periodically.Who wants to wear the same old shoe style??!!!Every version I have of Gel Nimbus is CONSISTANTLY cushy for running,walking and standing for long periods.If you have very wide feet try another Asics model other than the Gel Nimbus if a wide width still doesn't feel comfortable. Asics are all about comfort.Once you get the proper fit with these in a store you can order anywhere and the fit is the same. I know becuz I have done so.For me, Asics are the most comfortable sneaker around. Even with every revision of these,STILL great!!If you are hard on your shoes,they won't last becuz the entire top is a stretchy mesh material. So they may not be for you.Did I forget to mention the BOMB colors? They're consistently stylish also.Try them and you will see. You will either love them and be hooked like I am or you'll hate them and be on to the next sneaker.You never know until you try these.Good luck in your search!!!❤😊

I have more than a few pairs of trainers that I can put on, but once my feet experienced the superb cushioning of these, there was no going back. I have a long history with ASICS and ran hundreds of miles in them. Knees won't permit it any longer, but nothing else feels as good on my feet. Think "extra firm marshmallows with balanced stability." They are fabulous. For 18 years I've purchased size 9 in this shoe, but had to immediately exchange for 9.5 with this iteration.

LOVE these shoes. I always wear an 8 1/2 in running shoes, these fit perfectly. These are my FAVORITE workout shoes
