Tribesigns 63 Inch Executive Desk with File Cabinet, L Shaped Office Desk

Love it — great value so far. I would say for the price this is very high quality. Everything had nice weight to it and felt sturdy and the pilot holes were all aligned. It didn’t feel like a cheap desk when assembling which was nice. It’s certainly not a quick build and the directions are vague but good enough. Just pay attention to how things are oriented in the picture and you’ll be fine. I actually had to re-work a couple of things but it was easy. Again all pilot holes line up well so you should be all set.

I just got my desk assembled and it is amazing. This is the first time I have ever bought a desk, so I did tons of research and pored over SO many listings, taking deep consideration of how I wanted to use the desk, what features would be most useful, the style and, most importantly, the size and the price point. This is a big investment for me so I wanted to make sure to get the best quality for the best price possible. After making my decision (I had settled on a different listing, your typical L-desk with a hutch), I stumbled across this desk from Tribesigns. It took me by surprise, as was not the desk I originally envisioned in my office, it was very different in style and appearance. It was at the very tippy top of my price range. But I knew it would be the best fit for my needs. Well, I'm now sitting at this new desk and i'm thrilled to have ordered this instead of the other one. It's very high quality, and although it was missing one part (not a vital one, but an important one, one of the 4 metal tubes holding up the top part of the file cabinet portion) it is very spacious and sturdy. It took maybe 3 hours for me to assemble by myself (female), and was mostly very easy, but it was tricky at one point when required to attach the sliding tracks for the file cabinet (the instructions imply that you can somehow separate the inside tracks from the outside tracks, and then attach one side to the cabinet and one side to the drawer, and then slide the drawer in later, just like you do with the rolling drawer tracks...but I could not find a way to do this and had to attach the fully assembled track to the drawer, and then attach the whole drawer to the file cabinet....it was a little awkward but it worked out fine in the end, working carefully. I hope the company can send me that missing part. Otherwise I am very happy with this desk and encourage you to make the investment if you are on the fence. For a desk at this price point, I think it's a great purchase.

Very very nice desk. Was skeptical buying with not that many detailed or wow reviews but decided to go for it. Arrived on time, undamaged inside. Nothing was missing. I've assembled several other pieces of furniture so I know what to expect. The cabinet had quite a number of pieces, the desk had less. Hardware was clearly labeled, instruction (pictures) were easy to follow and clear. Comes with a screwdriver and a little wrench. Took me a total of about 5 hours to assemble both pieces. I used a impact driver (lowest setting when it was convenient) and a full sized screw driver. Nothings cracked or stripped out on me. I suggest you don't tighten anything down as you go (especially the table top panels), leave slightly snuged then hand tighten only when appropriate. Not necessary to go crazy tight as the panels are not real wood and not too thick. Instructions say to tighten the top with the table upside down but I chose to tighten from underneath as I didn't want to take the chance of tugging on the table top standing it up. Based on another review, do not try to lift the desk by the wood, lift it by the frame, but it is pretty easy to push and pull around without lifting. I really love the color contrast and the aluminum white frame is really nice visually. Overall I am really pleased with the office desk. Assembly was about a 3/10 in difficulty (not that bad really but I have assembled more difficult pieces before so I knew what to expect). Just be patient and follow the pictured instructions. Highly recommend the product.

The desk itself is very nice. Assembly instructions were simple and easy to follow. All hardware and pieces were labeled so no mistaking what parts went where. Downside: A couple of the pieces didn't fit flush, as if the holes were off just a bit, so there are some slight gaps in the desk top, and uneven along one edge. Also, though the metal pieces are well made and sturdy, the wood is pretty fragile. The veneer coating chips and peels quite easily, so I don't recommend moving the desk a lot, or having it in a high traffic area. It is solid, and has a lot of room on desk top. The drawers are very well made, go together easily, and slide ope/close smoothly. A lot of shelf space as well. I do recommend this, for the price point it is a great product.

If I could select zero stars, I would because the company’s (not Amazon) customer service was a disgrace!! The item came in 2 boxes, one for the “bookcase” portion and the other for the desk portion. We out together the bookcase portion and got started on the desk. When trying to accomplish the first step, we realized that the holes to connect the 2 side pieces to the center piece did not align (incorrectly placed in the center piece during the manufacturing process). I called the company and explained the issue. I was told to send pictures, and they would send me a replacement for the part that was defective. Two days later, I received an email from the company that they would not replace the part, and I needed to contact Amazon. I communicated with an Amazon agent, who was very kind and tried to help in any way he could, but Amazon is limited in what they can do since they are the third party seller. I emailed the company back to find out why they would not send me a replacement part after I was told they would. I later called them and spoke with another agent who told me that they would not send me a replacement part because they were out of stock, and they would not send me a replacement box for the one that had the defective part. He told me to contact Amazon. I told him Amazon could not send me one box or the one part because they do not manufacture the item. I told him that the bookcase was already out together and all I needed was a replacement for the one defective part or just that one box. He again said the company would not do either. When I asked when the part would be back in stock he said “a long time.” I then asked if the company was refusing to rectify and issue that was a manufacturing problem (their problem). He said yes. I advised that I would disassemble the bookcase, send everything back to Amazon for a full refund (their Amazon representative had already advised they would take it back for a full refund if I got nowhere with the company), and I told him I would share my experience and advise others against purchasing items from the company since they refuse to correct an issue that was created by them. He didn’t seem to have a problem with that. Interestingly, I received an email from the company a few days later (after I had already taken the bookcase apart and submitted my return request to Amazon) stating that they would replace the box with the defective part. I responded that the company’s representative had already refused that opportunity more than once over the phone, I had already disassembled the bookcase (and had no intention of putting it together again), and had already submitted my return request to Amazon. I told them that it would serve them well to train their representative on properly handling manufacturing issues with customers. I don’t think they will do anything with that recommendation, but I will not order anything from that company again.

Great desk. Easy to assemble but wouldn’t recommend alone.

Spacious and functional desk with a great L-shape design and useful storage, but assembly takes time. Unfortunately, one of the panels arrived damaged, which was disappointing and raises some quality concerns. Overall, it works well for organization, but the materials feel average for the price.

Very nice build and quality, highly recommend if you have a large office space, I can fit three monitors on just the desk alone, the filing cabinet does not attach to the desk itself but I love that if I ever want to change the layout of the desk.

We love this desk!!!! We hesitated to purchase it because of some negative reviews and we're so happy we went ahead with it. Both units are beautiful, classy and very solid. It takes a little while to assemble but the instructions are very clear and easy to follow.

Good quality desk. It’s a great size, deep and wide, gives me plenty of room to work and have two screens without feeling cramped. Was pretty easy to put together.

Fácil armado, buenas dimensiones, sólo llegó golpeado en una de las partes laterales en general buen producto, llegó en el tiempo previsto
