Well worth the money ,it will definitely save the DIY mechanic money it works as described It takes alittle playing with it to get use to the different options just be patient like when you get a new phone once you figure it out you will see it's a great diagnostic scanner tool.

The same day I received mine I updated it and was able to diagnose a transmission problem, it has a lot of expandable features for more of an "expensive scan tool" sort of feel, for DIY it is great, for a beginner it is a great start but for the professional tech it lacks features in the included software, you can add features as needed to expand its abilities as well and it is very easy to do so and update the tool itself.

Bought to calibrate my throttle body, TPMS and SAS on my 2006 avalanche. Sadly didn't work for my truck and sent it back. LAUNCH reached out and offered compensation for the issues. Really good customer service

I haven't yet used this tool very much, but so far it seems to be very capable. It has broad global coverage, it has many functions not found in many other aftermarket scan tools, and the user interface is fairly good. It is a little slow, but if it can do things my other tools can't, I am ok with that. It shows that it has immobilizer functions as well as some coding and programming functions. I would like an opportunity to use some of those, but right now I have no cars in the shop needing any of those functions.

Had a three piece video review Amazon only lets one video upload so I chose the full vehicle scan. It’s quick effective, and affordable. It does not have full bidirectional capabilities. It’s more of a scan tool than full diagnostic tool, scans all systems, clears all systems, good amount of data to view. Great for home, shop use would be quick scan and view, I’d use it for a free scan or so something I don’t need to go in depth on.

I had it on the charger for 24 hours, but it wouldn't take a charge! I returned it weeks ago and all I get from Amazon is "There is a problem with your refund".

I have not had a chance to use this yet, but I am a bit upset to find that there is a subscription required for full features. It comes with 2 years, but after that it is over $200 per year. Unit seems solid and easy to use. I have now communicated with the vendor and they are promising that the lifetime subscription is included with the product. I guess I will find out for sure in 2 years. I have not used this on 2 vehicles and I am very satisfied with the unit. My son is an autobody technician and he thinks it is better than the products they have in the last 2 shops he has been in. Scans and provides useful information. Even links to videos about the error codes right on the screen. Can email diagnostics to yourself. I am happy with the purchase. I did have to reach out to the vendor regarding the free gift, it is now on it's way to me.

Really poor manual with it, you pretty well have to figure it out. Once you do I really like how it displays and navigates. Unfortunately i have had two which i had to return because the battery drops to 20% in a week or two and now I have to return a third because it shows 100% battery power but won't boot up. After messing with power button it eventually comes on but it seems pretty unreliable in that regard.

Nice screen seems need subscription to access 2018 and up fca reset procedures lile throttle learn more of a code reader than a scan tool will return this and get something up the line, used launch before and liked them, the 129x not a bad tool just not right for me
