A little smaller than I thought.
Shipped perfectly it’s a little smaller than I thought but it’s okay. I bought to use for hauling long distances and does the job perfectly.

Excellent and effective product for laminitis
About 5 days after this arrived, my mini donkey became laminitic due to being fed incorrect hay (not by me!). This along with a Chinese herb mixture and proper hay, she was 75% better within a week. This stuff is sticky but comes off tools easily with rubbing alcohol. I cleaned her hooves very well, applied Magic Cushion, slipped a sandwich bag over her hoof, added a double layer of flip flops (cur to size......I stocked up at Wal-Mart for $1/pair), wrapped in vet wrap and covered that with Gorilla tape. I changed it every 3 days (3 times). Two inch vet wrap is perfect for tiny hooves. Penny is back to normal now. Despite flattering this stuff on 4 hooves 3 different times, there's still a lot left. I have another donkey I'm going to try this on for his frogs. I will update on his condition once treatment is complete.

Perfect for horses stuck in stalls at shows
Love and Hate this stuff.Love it because it is great for the horse's hooves. Provides the support they need not only while stuck in the stall at a show. It also provides extra support when the arena footing is jacked up from the summer humidity.Hate it because it is gross and sticks to everything. (Granted I am the mom and not the rider and have zero clue what I am doing. So leave application to the professionals, kids that ride and the trainers.)

Mixed results
The horse I have been riding for the past 5 years has always had very sensitive soles, especially after a trim. I've noticed over the past year he has become even more sensitive when riding on the trail. There are lots of small rocks and avoiding them is almost impossible. So after many painful rides with him tip toeing through the trail I decided to try Magic Cushion. I used it for the first time a couple weeks ago, applied it exactly as instructions said to. I let it dry for one hour before I saddled up and went for a ride. It seemed to work very well as he rode like nothing bothered him. Great! Well I did it again the other day and after about 10 minutes into my ride I saw the stuff fly right out of his front hooves, as soon as we got to the more rocky part of the trail my poor guy started stumbling over every single tiny stone. So this stuff works good if you can get it to stay in for the duration of the ride. I might have packed too much in, which is why it came out - maybe less works better and will stay in longer. I'm going to experiment and try some other things as well. I wish the magic cushion would stay in better. I've seen people use duct tape to seal it in, but not sure you can do that if you plan on riding. Maybe I need to get some boots.

Extreme Cooling Cushion
This stuff makes a great packing for a sore horse. And it shockingly does cool down the foot. I used it on my horse and when I went to remove the packing two days later my horses shoe was ice cold! It was crazy. The outside temperature was 90 plus degrees. So if you need to bring down the heat in a foot this stuff will do it.

So relieved...my horse is back!
My barefoot 17h friesian had been off for almost a week due to extremely heavy rains, rode him one day, arena and on trails. Next day he was lame on his front right; unwilling to put weight on it.He had needed a bit more 'aggressive' trimming on his front hoofs right before this, so bruising/sore soles (soles not trimmed though) was a very reasonable explanation... but you never know. He preferred to stand in more or less one spot for two days, even when the other horses moved away. Like a knife in my heart.Got this, put it on, and now, three hours later, he's out there doing his normal acrobatics in the pasture and in the arena (to which they have access to)!!! He's certainly some time away from being back to normal, I'm sure, but extremely good diagnostic clue! :) I'll sleep better tonight.Very happy with this product. Will start keeping it at hand for these situations. He can be put back to work, groundwork in the arena.Highly recommended.
