I've used latex foam pillows for about ten years or more. The first ones I got from the red bullseye company in town. I can't remember the maker, but it was made in USA. Time went by and I wanted another pillow. The price on these pillows has done what most other products has done (i.e., go up!), so I shopped around and bought this pillow along with a few others. I also use latex foam pillows from Sleep on Latex. I would consider the Artka pillow and the SOL pillow to be the two best, and equivalent in feel. Both are nicely springy and support well. I'd ordered a total of three other pillows from other brands but did not care for them so much - they mostly felt dense and stiff rather than springy. I sleep on my stomach (mostly) or side and like a pillow that compresses somewhat but doesn't disappear completely. If you are a back sleeper, you might feel this pillow does not support your head enough. But all the foam ones are better than the spun polyester ones in my opinion. My ladyfriend likes the shredded latex foam pillow from Sleep on Latex. Unlike memory foam, it does not continue to compress throughout the night as it warms up. She can stuff it as much as she wants so its always a perfect thickness and springiness. But this review is supposed to be about the Artka, so I will wrap it up by saying this is a great pillow. It springs to full size immediately and has no smell.

Love latex pillows because they keep their shape and don’t get lumpy. They also support well without my head sinking into it too much, but have also have just enough give (unlike memory foam). I’m a side sleeper with neck issues, and this works well to lessen my pain and allow me to sleep. The only issue I have with latex in general is that they disintegrate to dust in time, but I haven’t had this one long enough to judge its longevity in that respect. I hate memory foam because it’s always too hard and too hot to sleep on, but I find latex is so much more comfortable. There may have been a bit of a smell at first, but there isn’t now so I can’t really remember. That’s a good thing to not remember one.

I was researching which are the safest/healthiest pillows, mattresses, etc. I came across latex as being a great option, so I decided to buy some latex pillows. The pillow itself arrives in a tight fitting box, but NO worries... within seconds it is about 90% smooth, & by the time a few minutes has passed, it is 100% smooth. It comes with a nice, soft zippered cover, that is easy to machine wash/dry. The pillow has the perfect amount of fluff & comfort! My kids & I use this pillow for propping our knees & feet up because we have vascular issues. It is also nice between your knees to support your hip for side sleepers. It helps keep the hip level, which is nice for my teen who has had surgeries on both hips (torn labrums, impingements, etc) & is having more of them (dysplasia). The pillow itself has ventilation holes on it & they work very well. There is ZERO odor from the pillow & pillow case. We LOVE our pillows. After seeing how nice latex pillows are, I am looking for a latex mattress topper now because we can't afford a latex mattress, but want some extra comfort added to our 30 year old mattress set. I would purchase this pillow again!

These pillows are soft, but supportive. The thickness is perfect. They are definitely not flat. There is still a slight odor, but it's not horrible. They seem to be well-made. My sleep pattern has improved since using them.

Soft buy firm. Holds its shape nicely. Could be just a little thicker.

This pillow was way to soft. When you lay down your head keeps sinking. I’ve never bought a latex pillow that did this.

Easily one of my favorite pillows. Everyone in our family has one of these and doesn’t leave home for an overnight without it. It’s high quality meets our sleeping needs. It has ideal thickness to avoid neck discomfort and it’s worth the price you pay. These pillows maintain their shape, integrity and durability for years.

When I first got this pillow I almost didn't even want to sleep on it because it was uncomfortably high. Both my boyfriend and I like pillows that are a bit flatter. He refused to sleep on it because it was too high but I decided to give it a try before returning it. It is so weirdly comfortable that I ended up falling in love with this pillow even though it is still to high for me. If it was half an inch lower it would be the holy grail of pillows. Me and my bf are 5"6 and 5"7 though so if you are taller this will probably be the perfect height for you. It is somehow bouncy, springy, firm, and soft all at the same time... I can't even really describe it. I have seen natural latex pillows on the internet being priced over 200.00 a piece so this one is extremely affordable and I say you should give it a try. It is unlike most conventional pillows and I am hoping that it holds it's shape and firmness level for years to come.
