Works well
When my hairdresser noticed my damaged hair from using a cheaper hair straightener, she said "Get a Babyliss." So I bought this one and no more damaged hair! Both of us have never been happier. There are so many things to love about this straightener, where do I begin? It heats up quickly and stays at the temperature you set. It has a thick sturdy cord that rotates, so it doesn't get twisted and kinked up. It's on the small side and lightweight for traveling. I wish I had bought one years ago!

Great Flat Iron!
Very good flat iron. Lightweight and perfect size. I appreciate the ability to set the temperature. It heats up quickly. Hair is left soft and smooth.

Beyond Disappointed
Extremely disappointed in the reliability and durability of this Babyliss flat iron. I bought it in June 2024 and it worked great at 1st but about 2 months ago it stopped working in numerous wall outlets. It would still work in some outlets so I didn’t think much of it.Now 13 months in it won’t work in almost every outlet no matter where I’m staying. I’ve tried to use it in hotels, at home and while visiting friends and 95% of the time it won’t power on even in outlets that work with other devices. I’ll never purchase a Babyliss product again after this very frustrating experience.

Amazing
The best flat iron I’ve used. It does not pull or tug on your hair. It is very smooth and soft when straightening your hair. My hair actually looks healthier. Don’t mind my mess I’m remodeling. The hazmat team tore my room to pieces now I get to put it back together.

Not as silky as I would like
This flat iron works. It heats up in seconds, but it doesn’t give the smooth silky finish that I would have liked. Maybe I need to have the heat set all the way up to 400. I just didn’t want use it that hot on my hair.

So so.
Not the most impressive tool at 300 degrees. I’m not sure if I’ve always used higher degrees in the past but being conscious and reading the directions I felt this was not super super effective on my thin straight hair that I was just trying to get the frizz out of. I think if you have curly or coarse hair then this is a bit on the small side being 1 inch and you also need a much higher heat. That being said, I will take it with me to travel as it is not too too big, but we will have to do many passes. Once you do a few passes. It does look good, but I’m not sure how healthy it does for the hair that you need a few passes at 300.
