Review: HiBy R6 Pro II
The R6 Pro II is indeed power-hungry when utilizing its Class A amplification mode. While the difference in sound quality between the Class A and Class AB amplification modes is rather subtle, the sheer power output is impressive. Crucially, it has no trouble driving demanding headphones like my Sennheiser HD 600s, even in high gain. This level of power handling significantly surpasses my previous FiiO player. The sound quality is exceptionally technical, clear, and somewhat neutral, providing a faithful reproduction of the music. The instrument separation and soundstage are fantastic, allowing complex tracks to breathe. Overall, the R6 Pro II is an absolute beast in terms of audio performance. It's reassuring to know the R6 Pro II offers native support for the highest quality files, specifically DSD1024 and PCM 1536kHz. This means you are well-equipped for virtually any audio file format you might encounter. I primarily use the player by loading music onto a large capacity microSDXC card, as I don't utilize Bluetooth functionality. The Android-based interface is generally good, and I'm very satisfied with the HiBy player's ecosystem. A major benefit is the ability to use advanced features like Parametric EQ (PEQ) and other software plugins. Personally, I prefer to keep the sound chain clean and only engage the EQ when a specific pair of headphones truly benefits from the adjustment. The R6 Pro II is certainly on the bigger side for a digital audio player (DAP); it is noticeably larger than models like the FiiO M11 or M21. While the screen is bright and vibrant enough for outdoor use, I find the interface to be a little sluggish compared to the Fiios when performing general tasks, though still responsive for music playback. This is a great DAP for the serious audiophile. However, if your budget is a concern or you need a smaller device, the R6 III is another superb option within the HiBy lineup that offers excellent performance at a more budget-friendly price point.

Love and hate
I love it, but I’m having a hard time transferring songs from my computer to this player. I’ve looked at all the videos on YouTube and it looks like it’s not working. I have tried it with two different computers and I cannot get it to transfer over. I don’t know if it’s the computer or the player. Need some technical advice. Otherwise I really love this player. Can anyone tell me who can I talk to to get extra help with this device? Thank you
