3X Black Tee Hinges 24" 600mm Long Very Heavy Duty Gate Shed FIXINGS Included

Have made a 1.8 metre high by 1 metre wide side gate from 3x3 fence posts clad in 22mm timber, is extremely heavy but these are more than up to the job.

Have a heavy side gate, the previous galvanised steel hinges had twisted/distorted so decided to go very over the top and fit heavy duty replacements. These are robust items, like most hinges of this type, simple in construction. The supplied wood screws were of good quality and survived being driven in with a high-torque cordless tool, even had four left over.

I'm impressed with the quality and heft of these hinges. I've hung a 3ft (900mm) gate with them and they feel really solid. Also SO handy they come in a set of 3 - loads of others were sets of 2 which fir a heavy gate meant buying 1 more than I needed. Only drawback - see title of review - is the supplied screws are bright plain steel, so if you like things to look smart and neat buy a set of 'japanned' black screws while you're at it.

Good quality for the price but there were only 2 in the pack rather than 3.

Bought six of these to support three fairly heavy garden gates I made using 4"x1" tanalised softwood. Also impressed with the strong screws that came with it. I drilled an extra hole and fitted an additional pan head screw (see second photo) in order to ensure the hinge stayed flat at this point of contact. Very pleased with my purchase so far.
