Drishyam 2 definitely exceeded my expectations. Jeethu Joseph deserves praise for creating a brilliant sequel to what felt like a standalone movie. Even though there is some lag in the first half, the story builds tension quite effectively set up for some brilliant twists.The introduction of new characters, whether they be for a minor or supporting role, each plays an important part in deciding the fate of Georgekutty and their family. The performances of the main cast were great, although I felt Ansiba and Esther (Georgekutty's daughters) could have gotten more screen time. Murali Gopi and Saikumar were great additions and very convincing in their roles.The ending of the movie subtly teases us perhaps another sequel to the never ending cat-and-mouse game. Drishyam 2, had it released in theaters if it wasn't for the pandemic, could have been one of the biggest box office hits in malayalam cinema. This is a movie that is so well written and crafted, it holds up to the original. It should not be missed!

A master craft from Jeethu Joseph. This is how a second part should be made. The visuals (drishyam) and the story blended with the part one. Great screenplay and dialogues. Nice blend of familiar and new faces. A thriller's success depends on successfully cheating audience guesses and this movie did it! Plot twists were perfectly executed. Brilliant acting from all and awesome direction..A low budget family story attracting audience interest even to watch a re-release for the theatre experience. Other industries will already be in queue for the remake rights. Satellite rights already sold. A win - win for the producer and amazon prime. A perfect example of successful movie business model..

I confess Im not a regular Malayalam movie watcher and in fact i saw dhrishyam, the first part, in Tamil. I am so glad I watched part 2 in Malyalam though. mohanlal 's performance is so understated and on point. Kamal hassan was over the top and loud and probably i would have liked the first part in Malyalam too! Even though setting up the story in the first half is slow and seemed to be aimlessly meandering, it all ties together so perfectly in the end it was all worth it!

Amazon seems to have wrongly categorised this movie as a Drama. This is a suspense thriller not drama. Watched this with English subtitles as do not know Malayalam language. However, good story with a very good climax and brilliant acting. Keeps you engaged throughout. This is the first time to watch a Malayalam movie. Only heard about actor Mohanlal but haven’t watched his movies before. He was brilliant. Have learnt a few words in Malayalam after watching the movie. Hope to travel to Kerala someday. Some very scenic locations in the movie.

All the characters presented in the movie are simple and strongly stand with the common people what we seeing the daily village life. There is no clue for the climax until the end of the story. The only thing It will place below the first part is suspense and emotions will start a bit late in the second part as compared to the first part.

Jeethu Jospeh once again proved his craft. Hats off to the entire team. Drishyam is the best thriller movie ever made in Malayalm and Drishyam 2 is not far behind. Feel satisfied with the climax and that is not easy to achieve considering the situations of the story.A simple and interesting movie with lots of unexpected twists and turns.

The story starts slowly, though after the interval it becomes interesting. But it looks as if the climax is being rushed into with with a plan of having a drishyam 3.over all a family movie worth watching as nothing much around.Mohanlal has done justice to his role. Meena - should have given bit more screen time.storyline of having shadow police officers living next door for two years is not realistic.

Long awaited but worth watching, as expected it was the best thrilling movie from Jithu Joseph, from starting till the end one will obviously sit holding their breath and heart pounding in each and every scene. Story went on very smoothly without lagging and there was a punch in every dialogue each character was delivering especially Laalettan. Laalettan polichu...
