I got this for my grandson. He planted the seeds and was able to watch them grow and learn from it.

Super fun little kit! I bought 3 because it was the perfect birthday presents for some kindergarten birthday parties! Seeds haven't sprouted just yet but the solid was the perfect amount and it was really fun to measure out the water and rehydrate the soil block. Great little science project. My little loved the stickers and decorating the box. Even if you want to use different seeds (coriander and onions are what's in the kit) they kit is worthwhile. Might try a few small radishes too

The supplied seeds don't grow. The "what's in the box" description mentions 2 pucks of earth but there was only one. That one was enough to fill the box, though. I'm giving three stars because it's been a week since we put it together but still nothing grows so it's a bit disappointing.

This was very fun to set up with. my granddaughter. Waiting for germination to happen. But, it only came with one soil disc. The package said there would be two. So will have to find some more discs if we decide to plant the other package of seeds.

I bought this for my daughter.. She enjoyed planting the seeds that came with it but there was no growth from them. We then tried our own seed and there was growth, we now have a little seedling!! It was very clear easy instructions, price for the product was great! Fun activity for kids, perfect size to be handled by little hands.!

Nothing happened, was a fun thing to do with the kids and talk about. Unfortunately nothing grew.

The seeds sprouted, didn't grow much though. Wasn't as dramatic as we expected, a little bit of a disappointmented kid.

Great activity for kids, but you can not see the roots well unless you plant the side right against the side. The bottom part that holds water does NOT stay on well at all. Hold to it tightly or expect spills

My son absolutely loved this root viewer kit! We planted the first bag of seeds, and within a week, he could already see the roots growing. After about two weeks, he had many new plants. It is exciting and educational for children to check the viewer every day and watch how the roots and plants develop. This is a fun hands-on STEM activity that teaches kids about nature and plant growth. Highly recommended!
