I tend to travel with my Spectre because it's thinner and more lightweight than my work laptop. I similarly wanted a slim and compact charger and this fit the bill. The charger wraps up pretty small so I can easily put it in a pocket in my travel bag. The charger has worked perfectly for a number of business trips. I did add some cable wraps that stay on the cords instead of the bands that came with the charger.

Don't go by the models they lost because they're not accurate.

After a couple of years, my OEM HP power supply bit the dust. This one was a perfect replacement. Quiet, doesn't run hot, and the cable ends are plenty long. This is a really good value for a replacement power supply.

I got this for a laptop that was given to me that did not come with a power cord. The computer was a 15-f222wm, a computer that isn't listed as compatible. But it works fine and likely works with other laptops not listed.What is important to note is that the voltage is exactly the same, polarity is correct, size of the tip is the same, and making sure the amps are higher or equal to what the computer lists. If this is all correct then it doesn't matter what computers they say it works for, it will work. If your not familiar with electronics you could easily pass over this power cord thinking it won't work.Although, in the end it turns out the battery is no good in the computer (it's been sitting for a very long time). Go figure. I can still use it if it is plug in.

This charger has a large compatibility list and my laptop falls under that category. I prefer having extras on hand in case my current charger fails.

Item claims to be compatible with the HP model listed in the title. After plugging it in, CPU ramps down to 0.40Ghz and power test shows AC adapter is incompatible.
