Worked great
I initially wanted to do the usb-c upgrade but decided to try these first. Work as they should and very easy to install. And yes, it will fit the older controllers just fine..the ribbon cable is o the opposite side but plenty to reach. To avoid constantly abusing the charger port, I also added the magnetic tip chargers. I only have to use a regular cable for syncing.

Wrong ribbon cable size
I took my controller apart to replace my charging port, they sent the right charging port but, the ribbon cable they sent didn't match up, luckily I didn't throw my old ribbon cable away so I connected my old one to the replacement charging port and it matched, good price for 3 pieces of ports and ribbons with tool that I can now use to take apart my PS4 and clean out the dust.would have been 5 start rating if they sent the right cable
