G2RISE SN01 Full Face Snorkel Mask with Detachable Camera Mount, Anti-Fog and Foldable Design, Advanced Breathing System for a Safe Adults/Kids Snorkeling Experience

We had previously bought a very cheap face mask but found the straps were not keeping it on our face so we sent it back. I then panicked about safety and bought a few Cressi masks to try. One of them was hard to breathe through and another didn't fit very well I they went back too. It was only then that we went for these G2RISE SN01 masks and we were so glad we did. My wife and daughter had a size S/M and I had a L/XL. They fit the face well and form a good seal. Breathing is easy. They do not fog up. The field of vision is excellent. They feel sturdy. The safety cover for the clip holding the fold away breathing pipe is reassuring. They come with a bag, an attachment for an action camera and spare valves. After a test in a swimming pool, we took them on a family snorkeling trip in the Red Sea on holiday and I found they were perfectly good for 30 plus minutes without any adverse effects. I put the mask on before I entered the water and took it off as I climbed out the boat and I never once experienced a salty taste in my mouth from any seawater leaks. It's worth noting that Red Sea diving trips do not advise the use of these face masks due to the potential for CO2 buildup. I even had to sign a disclaimer that I had selected to do so myself and understood the consequences. However, my experience is that, as long as you breathe slowly and deeply and do not over exert yourself, this problem does not occur. We did not try diving under the water with the mask on. It does have an airway protection valve so a small plastic ball will stop water flooding into the mask if the tip goes under the water. I think you would struggle to dive with it simply because of the additional buoyancy it provides. I recommend this product for casual snorkelers on holiday.

Used this on a holiday to Rhodes and it was amazing. I am not a diver by any stretch of the imagination, but this is so simple and easy to use. Couple of practice goes in the pool and then straight out into the sea where I could float around happily, saw so many fish was well worth every penny. The ability to dive down and not worry about taking in water was brilliant, the valve closes perfectly My only small note is that the camera mount takes a bit of practice, Thought I had filmed some great stuff but the angle was wrong, but thats 100% my issue, the mount itself was good and secure - Just needs a bit of trial and error to get the right angle. Very comfortable to wear, straps held it nice and tight! 100% recommend and now my daughter wants one as well!

my daughter is 8/9 years old and this XS mask just about goes on regarding strap and face. For all intent and purposes this is actually too small. The strap is on the largest it will go and her eyes are a little too close to the rim for my liking, but we’re going on holiday tomorrow and I paid £20 for it so this will be absolutely fine for our holiday. I’d rather this than get ripped off buying one abroad. Qualifications, i’m a swim instructor of 20 years, so i’ve seen and had my fair share of snorkel masks and goggles. Benefits of the full mask for kids: My daughter is an experienced water baby and even she hates the taste of sea water in her mouth. I suggest the full face mask over a mouth snorkel for small children. It also takes away the element of error/drama. This product has not wowed me so no 5 stars, but works. 4 star is fine. Go Pro clip on the top is a great addition.

Absolutely fantastic. Got 2 of these to take to Cala D'or for me and my Granddaughter. Very well made. NRV system works well stopping any water getting in when going under. Great clarity on the mask with no condensation at all. No water entered via the seals and I do have a stubble. Grrat fit! Changed the way I snorkel. I'll never go back to goggles and mouth piece for breathing. With these, if you're close enough you can actually talk to each other. Brilliant! Granddaughter loved it. Especially with the fish coming close to her face.

I took a full-face snorkel mask with me on our recent trip to the Maldives, and I’m honestly so glad I did. I’ve always struggled a bit with traditional snorkels—breathing through my mouth felt unnatural, and I hated dealing with water sneaking into the tube. This mask completely changed that experience. On holiday in Marmaris and just used it on a boat trip (Mama Mia) in and out of the sea all day and no leaks, fogging up, its a really good piece of kit. Buying a cpl more for the grand kids.... It really is spot on

Strong smell of chemicals after opening, which did not go after rinsing a few times. May not bother you (or your kids) could spend hours in the sea breathing these in. Also, there’s a coating on the inside of the visor that smears when drying/cleaning it and this wouldn’t clean off easily. Fit was good however. I bought an Easy Breath 900 from Decathlon today and it is so much better in terms of the straps, no leaks, comfort and looks, and just £10 more.

This is a good mask that will serve you for 1,5 to 2 years. Strong points: - very comfortable to wear for 30 minutes or more - easy breathing. Weak points: - The elastic band starts to deteriorate after about a year (but you can buy replacements), and - the plastic of the tube becomes brittle after 2 years, causing it to break. I have bought this mask again, knowing what the weak points are.
