Both the DTI and the mag stand look very well made. The DTI has a smart storage case that also holds an alternative back. There are 2 batteries supplied, one installed and a spare. I chose the 40kG magnet which is a little weak really, but it holds onto my lathe bed without any issues. I will definitely buy more of this brand in the future. P.S. Delivery was also quicker than expected.

Just what I needed and good quality as well

I use mine to square parts on the milling machine or to centre stock on my lathe. The screen refreshes fast enough to not make this painful and the 0.01mm precision is great for my needs. The Indicator is no bigger than an analogue Indicator and holds firm when tightened up. I can't speak to battery life yet except to say that my first purchase is still going 9 months later. For the price I think this is good value for money and comparable to analogue Indicators

This is a great little tool for helping diagnose vehicular vibrations, i was experiencing vibration when braking lightly at high speeds and having recently installed 380mm 2 piece brake disks i wasn't convinced the brakes were the actual cause. I used this to check the run out of the discs which confirmed they were infact running true. Alot of brake disc manufacturers now state in their installation instructions that the run out must be checked on install fir warranty reasons. This tool is perfect for that. It feels well made and is accurate enough for its intended use. I've used it to help centre the tail stock on my lathe with great success too.

I don't normally do reviews, but I will for this item . It arrived well packaged no damage. I think the quality is first class very well made , the digital dial is excellent very easy to read . I've pulled the rod a few times & it's always went back to zero. I'm going to use it on a z-axis of a milling machine I've made , I wanted to keep the machine manual , so I need to know how much I'm dropping down the z-axis or I'm going to be breaking cutters . So this new dial will be invaluable for that . So yes a very good purchase

On the whole fit for purpose but the stand could be more robust arrived in good time

Bought for a specific job and is of a high quality better than I expected.

The reason for this purchase was ensure the alignment of my table saw blade was correct and not to be inaccurate with any saw cuts. The sad thing is that when the dial is set to zero, no matter what I try, it still shows figures such one or two in the window. I am pretty sure it is not me but i can make the difference by minus the figure so I can get a correct reading. I am disappointed, sadly, as after paying a lot for this you would have expected better.

So far so good. I bought this to use with hobby metal lathe and it seems to be well made, solid and quite accurate. The unit came well.packaged and instructions are clear and concise. The arm/mount assembly is quite versatile and easy to set in any position, even one handed. If I was to order again I would get one with a greater intensity of magnetism. This is working fine but it does take too much to move the magnet base when the arm is extended.

Extremely accurate very easy to use Quality Tool

Indicator is great for the hobbyist or for non-mission critical work. It's checked out against reference blocks within .001" which is fine for what I need it for. I also like the swivel arm with one locking knob. However, the magnetic base isn't anywhere close to "90lbs" pull. Even more so when fully extended. It does work for what I needed. Just wish it had more magnetic power.
