No use of lock
The hook screw are exposed, so putting lock makes no sense. Just unscrew it to open. Need to cover screw under latch.

Serve the purpose
Product is okay and serve the purpose. The good part is head length is adjustable by just screwing up or down and this help a lot while using on random places. I fixed air filter box on my car which as per mechanic needs to be replaced fully due to broken plastic locks.
