I bought this silent basketball for my 6-year-old so he can practice dribbling inside the house, and it has been a game changer. Very great silent basketball. It’s very durable, Bounces like a regular basketball, fun for everyone , works exactly like a basketball. When you open the package it comes in a box wrapped with plastic and as soon as you tear the plastic the ball inflates, it may not instantly become smooth upon inflating, but on the packaging it states how you gotta wait 1-2 days for it to fully smooth out. The grip on this is decent and nearly the exact same as a regular basketball. The material does feel great and is very comfy.

The ball is really quiet, you can hardly hear it, and it definitely does not distract your neighbours. On the other hand - it is not as heavy as the real ball, you need to get accustomed to it. But it helps in drible learning and does its job well. The ball feels solid, and if not exposed to sharp object should serve for longer time.

This one is better made than the other one we had but it is not as quiet. Its not super loud but its my home is above the ground so I can for sure hear it when my kids use it.

It surprisingly has a great bounce. Used on carpet and wood, it's a great trainer and much more quiet vs. a standard ball.

My 12 year old loves this ball. I think my wife and I love it more because it’s so quiet. He is constantly bouncing it on the vinyl flooring through the house and you can barely hear it. Probably one of the quietest things my 12 year old does now. The ball is dense foam with some weight so it can do damage/break stuff which is not anything new for kids and anything they play with. May also be the target of your dog as the next chew toy. So far we’ve been lucky on that. Slightly smaller, maybe the standard size of a 10U basket ball, sorry don’t know sizes. Doesn’t bounce quite as well and doesn’t come perfectly straight up like your typical basketball. It’s not bad, still completely usable, but noticeable and I actually think it’s a good thing. You have to bounce harder and control the ball more on each dribble. My son only recently started playing organized basketball. His dribbling skills have significantly increased over the last month since he’s had it. Highly recommend if you kid likes to kid in the house and you still want to be able to hear yourself think.

Bought 2 of these. One was great! Solid smooth surface but the other one was spongey where you can absolutely see holes in them. They still work though, just crappy to look at.

Overall, definitely worth it. My son is getting borderline obsessively annoying about getting better at basketball, and he uses this daily. Definitely quieter than a normal ball, and the peace of mind I have that he's less likely to break something or knock over the toddler while dribbling around is priceless. The bounce isn't perfect though; it doesn't bounce back as high as a normal ball would. However, I would rather he practice with this than those plastic balls from those indoor toy basketball sets because it's the size of a normal ball (quieter than those plastic balls too).

The ball started peeling after just one week of very light indoor use. My son only practised simple dribbling at home, no shooting, no outdoor play. Update after another week: Each bounce left small pieces of sponge scattered across the floor, to the point where we eventually had to throw the ball away. Disappointing quality for such limited use.

My kid loves it! For me it is just a nice basket ball!

Not 100% silent but a noticeable difference.
