A very handy exending tong for reacging into your burner.

Don't no what we did without them

Awkward to use as my wood burner is at smaller side and this scissors are massive.

It's well built and sturdy, but in order to open the jaws wide enough to pick up a reasonable sized log for the fire, you need giant hands, or to use two hands. This means you can't open the stove door at the same time. It's good that the grabber is long. No danger of getting too close to the fire, but the mechanics of it, just don't allow easy release of the log and you end up dropping it in a useless position then just poking it about

Feel very robust but slightly difficult to grip logs at times..often needed two hands to hold slightly heavier items securely

This is just the job for our new smokeless firepit and allows you to put logs on without the danger of burning yourself.
