Is it dishwasher safe?

As the heat resistant temperature is only 60 Celsius, it is not dishwasher safe.

How wide is this slicer?

It is 5 1/2 inches wide with 5 inches of cutting blade. A very basic slicer. I only use it to grate cabbage for coleslaw and it works great. Very fine shreds. Super easy to clean.

Can it slice ginger for gari (picked ginger)?

I haven’t tried to slice ginger but it certainly should.

Are English instructions available?

There is no instructions, but there is a picture how yo use it. I’ve already used it, it shredded very thin and easily. Also, there is a guard, that protects yourself hand. Will recommend.
