I haven’t used this for my Stitchery yet so cannot comment specifically on how good it is for that. I can say the fabric seems to be tightly woven, smooth texture, nice slight off white color. I think it will be a beautiful background for doing Brazilian, crewel, raised, & painted embroidery work. The materials arrived in excellent condition, on time, & securely packaged! I am looking forward to using it for my embroidery projects!

In the before times, if you bought fabric at a fabric store, they always cut the length on the generous side, knowing that you would lose some when you straightened the cut ends. Lately, I've noticed that doesn't happen all the time, so I often end up with a little less than the yardage I need. In the case of this piece, the length was cut a little over an inch short, so by the time I straighten the ends, I will not have the 5 yards I paid for.That said, the muslin is very nice and is truly white. I intend to use it for making toiles/calicos/muslins, so the length is not crucial, but still annoying. I would happily give it five stars if the cutting was more accurate.

The softest feeling Muslim I've ever purchased. Using for quilt backing so smooth but I have not prewashed yet! Will update if problems come up. A agitating washer is hard on quilts. I put mine in a laundry bag to prevent damage when I don't have access to tumble machine.
