so I was pleased that it would probably shrink some in wash
I bought the Medium in Black. I wear a 34B or 36A bra, so size charts put me at Small-Medium.New out of package, shirt was comfy, and even sort of too large on me (I was looking for a well-fitted thermal), so I was pleased that it would probably shrink some in wash.ONE wash in cold water, tumble dry regular, shrunk the length of the shirt considerably, the sleeve length 5 inches above my wrists. The width around is good, but the length is terribly short - after only one wash - and another reviewer mentioned it shrank over several washes ... so it will get even shorter ?Measurements of my Medium after one wash are:chest width taken under armpits: 16"length: 20"arm length taken from shoulder seam: 20"Also, appearance of the shirt becomes ugly after washing/drying, just oddly shaped, like poofing out in the shoulder area? and of course the length ...This is why other reviewers say this shirt is only good for sleeping in, after the first wash. It could not be worn in public. But, it is meant to be an undershirt thermal, so maybe that's alright.Getting a Large might help me with the length, but I worry it would be too big in width, I really don't want a baggy cotton shirt.

Need smaller sizes
This is made of nice, thick, good quality cotton, but unfortunately it does not come in Xsmall and was too large. It also has a very low neck which seems ridiculous for a thermal as that is where you need the warmth, and it is unlikely to be warn under clothing that has a low neckline. Unfortunately the kid's version is made of an inferior poly-cotton fabric otherwise I would order a girl's size large. Too bad they don't offer the same kind of good quality clothes for small women and kids as they do for larger women and men.

Short and not soft
This thermal set is NOT soft. It's cotton and basic and will keep you warm. That's it. The "wristband" on the sleeve is kind of tight so if you like to push up your sleeves, it may dig into your arm. Also, even with the bigger sizes, if you are "busty", this top will be SHORT. I couldn't even tuck it into my pants to keep it from riding up. Not a big fan, but they work ok. Wouldn't recommend for busty gals.

I'm a Florida native and I bought a couple of these to take to NYC earlier this month. They worked very well for me and helped to keep me warm in their 50F weather (We call that "Winter" here in Florida!) I would say that you should order them one size larger than usual, as this seems to be a common problem for "long john" apparel. I would buy this item again.

I don’t recommend
Very thin material. Also it stretches out and gets baggy after wearing it for a couple of hours. Especially the wrist area.

Good fit - on me.
I really like this top - and I got the matching bottoms too. True - they are quite long, but I'm a little taller than average and it was nice to have sleeves that actually go down to my wrists - even after washing and drying. They feel like acrylic when you get them, but after one washing and drying, they were much softer.
