We purchased the Rubbermaid youth seat after using it in a local Chick Fil A and Raising Canes restaurant. We were impressed with the following: 1. Easy to clean 2. Easy to move. It has wheels. 3. Easy to get baby or toddler situated 4. Right height for pulling up to table We weren't expecting any other benefits but here are a few pleasant surprises: 1: The plastic is bacteriostatic meaning it makes it hard for bacteria to adhere to the chair. 2. We can hose it off. Baby meets birthday cake is NO problem. 3. The plastic makes your cleaning rag easy to move over the chair. Crumbs are easily wiped away, even without a rag. I can even use a paper towel. 4. Between meal cleaning is not necessary. Nothing really sticks to this chair. So I just wipe it out and go. 5. The chair fits UNDER your table so it is easily stowed away. WE LOVE THIS FEATURE! 6. The wheels. This chair did not come with wheels but we are planning to add them. This will make the chair more portable. I can move baby into the kitchen while I cook. Regardless, the chair slides on our tile floor with ease. 7. Our toddler (2) can now climb into the chair without help. I do not recommend this but we have caught our toddler climbing on the chair on his own. The chair is very stable and does not give way. Whew! Now, he climbs with us present. If you leave the chair under the table, this is not a problem. (Lesson learned) 8. Cost. This chair is easily sold or passed down. I don't think you could do anything to break it except destroy the seatbelt. Which BTW is removable and washable. It was worth the expense. 9. Aside from purchasing the wheels, I am also considering purchasing the tray. That way I do not lose a seat at the table and I can have baby eat outside or any other location. 10. I can use this chair for a long time. I have seen 4 and 5 yo in them at these restaurants. What we replaced was the Eddie Bauer wooden high chair at home and a Graco high chair at grandma's. Neither even compare to this chair. The only plus to these chairs was that they were more baby oriented while this chair is more for a child that can sit on their own. Both of these chairs required cleaning after EVERY meal or snack and they were difficult to clean. I am very satisfied with this change and hope this review is helpful to other parents who are struggling with their high chairs.

Best high chair ever! We hated our old high chair (Fisher Price Space Saver) but never bought anything else because we couldn't find anything that we liked better (especially for the price). We were out at one of our favorite restaurants that has this chair and on a whim decided to check Amazon for it. We ordered it immediately and love it! It is so super easy to clean and is so comfortable for our 8 month old son, he loves it! It's much more stable and sturdy than a wooden restaurant style high chair, it will probably last forever. It pulls right up to our table and it blends right in with our black dining room set, unlike the eyesore that our previous high chair was. You won't regret this purchase, worth the money!

Just what I was wanting! An easy to clean but also sturdy high chair! No pieces to lose so it’s perfect for us and will work for years. Started using this when our baby was old enough to sit up. She loves to just sit and play in it or eat. Her seat before this didn’t have enough room between the tray and her so was a super tight fit. I did also order the tray as well but did not have it on for the picture. High chair also just slides under our table when not in use. Won’t slide under if tray is in. I used a mallet to help with putting together to make sure the pieces fit correct. Love it!

I needed a "feeding station" for my son who is pretty destructive. He is the fourth child I have had.... and he has proven he can break about anything and can flip about any chair. In short this chair is quite ugly...but it is rugged and stable...to me...equating to safety. That is what I needed and this chair delivers that well. Very simple in design I would recommend it to anyone who needs a high chair for multiple kids or have a small child who will likes testing the engineering found in most household goods. As a last piece....the chair is easy to clean.

It fits under the dining room table for Thanksgiving. I did not enjoy putting it together. Seemed simple enough but I had a heck of a time lining up the screws so they’d make it to the other side. Make sure you have a magnetic Phillips screwdriver as every screw goes into a hole and you lose sight of what you’re doing. Wait until the entire chair is assembled before tightening down the screws. The one I got looked like someone else had tried to assemble it and then returned it. The parts were literally thrown in a box and the screws were taped to a piece of cardboard. The instructions are pictures only. It will work for what I need it for but considering it is a few pieces of plastic and ten screws, it’s overpriced especially since the tray is extra. It’s much shorter than a regular high chair but is good for allowing a small child to sit at a regular table during family meals.
