It won't cut your gums
I have tried many different floss picks. I used to be able to buy Plackers at the Dollar Tree but they stopped carrying it. I tried some very expensive ones but they would cut my gums when I had tight spaces between jaw teeth. Also Plackers had a very good sharp end so I could work the point into the space between the teeth and keep out more plaque. These Plackers are very similar to what I used to buy, except the pick on the end is inside the handle - you just bend it out. Again it is a nice, sturdy pick. The picks do not cut my gums when flossing.

Ribbon floss or no floss at all!
I have sensitive teeth due to not brushing much and the ribbon floss is the only one for me. I love having the option of a bag of these around.

Big disappointment
I picked up 4 packs of these under the old label in September 2023, and they were great. I purchased this version labeled, New, in June 2025, 2 packs, and they are one of the biggest disappointments in a product change I can remember in many years. Out of the package, the line of floss is straight and tight, but once used on a single quadrant of your teeth, it looks like the letter U. Sometimes, before you can finish flossing, one side either pulls out or the floss breaks. I’m not certain if it’s a bad design change, inferior materials, a counterfeit product, or what, but if the manufacturer wants to be known for the quality of the original product, something needs to change. If they and others are happy with this, that’s great, but it no longer works for me.

Works well on tight teeth
These are my favorite. I have right teeth and they slide in and out without being stuck. I can't use the string ones anymore now that I found these. These are a staple in my house.

The Best! Especially if the tartar pick isn't that important to you...
Take it from someone who has used several brands of these kind of flossers -- these are great! The general problem with flossers is that they break easily, sometimes the instant you attempt to use them. I won't guarantee that that won't happen with these, but it has yet to happen for me. One of these generally makes it through my whole flossing routine without a hitch. The floss is a fine thickness and works well for me. The only thing I don't prefer about these sticks over others I've tried is the pick end. The plastic is rigid and feels gross against my teeth and gums - hard, yet sort of brittle and powdery. I've had a little bit of one break off before too. I don't know exactly how to explain plastic as feeling powdery, but I imagine it being similar to the feel of plastic that has be been breaking down in the hot sun for a while would feel....if you tried to use that as a gum pick. I mostly care about the flossing functionality, but I've docked a star for the tartar pick, since it is mentioned as a feature of the product. These remain the best flossers I've used and I will repurchase.

Very nice picks
The floss is strong and I like the little pick attached to the device. Great for my teeth.

Perfect!
This floss pick is very very gentle as the name suggest. It drastically reduces any bleeding or bruising on gums when going in tight spaces between the teeth. The floss is also very thin which allows it to fit. The picks are also easy to bend to become accessible. I also love that the bag is resealable. Love it. Will definitely stick to these from now on! Perfect addition to my routine..I recommend you get these if thinking about it.

Old version was better, now the plastic scratches my gum and the floss string stretches out
It seems like Placker’s changed the design on these floss picks. I used to use the same ones but it had a green package. Those were a lot better and were sturdy little picks. In this seemingly new re-design, the floss string falls off on 1 in every 3 picks that I try to use. In the other 2 in every 3 picks, the floss string stetches out too much, rendering the floss pick unusable. The quality has definitely decreased for this product and I have decided to return it and switched to a different brand.

Sehr robust. Bei engen Zahnabständen frickelig, da dicke Zahnseide

Far to weak for my teeth, my teeth are close together, need 2 or 3 of them to do the job, as they break so easily.

Very hard to find and found them here. The fact that I searched for them, means I rate them highly. Very durable and effective.

I found the ribbon let loose during flossing, maybe not a problem with the flosser …my teeth are extremely tight
