If you are looking for a camping or a chef knife for your RV, this is a good choice. They fold up small enough to pack, yet large enough to do most everyday cutting. They are sharp. I haven't used this knife on the trail, but it feels like it would work. It's just with all the other types of knives out there for pure backpacking, I can find an all-around utility knife that will serve that purpose. But, as mentioned, for the camp-ground or RV, this won't let you down is you have to depend on it. If you are limited in space, around the house, I can say that this too will work. Good knife, good quality, good design, and good experience. You will come to like it.

I consider this folding, lock blade to be a very versatile Petty knife. The satin finished, wooden scaled handle with stainless liners, is long enough to comfortably accommodate any size hands, and is designed to enable chopping without hitting knuckles on the chopping board. The blade closes securely, and locks firmly when open. It has a drop point and significant rocker to the edge. A very useful knife for the kitchen, but with its folding design and carry pouch, I use it more for picnics and travel. Well made!

This is such a handy tool to have around! I travel frequently for work, and this has become my go-to kitchen knife. I pack this in my checked bag, and I always have a chefs knife. This knife was razor sharp out of the box, which is good, but you want to handle it with care. It was larger than I expected. This is the largest folding pocket knife I have had. And you will definitely notice it in your pocket when carrying it around. The handle is nice, sleek, slim, and comfortable in the hand. If you squeeze down the handle with some force, there is a little bit of flex in it. But it's still very rigid. The knife blade is also very thin, so it is easy to cut stuff very finely.The only thing I do not like is the action. This knife uses the axis locking mechanism but is very gritty and unsmooth. Maybe it will break in over time, or it might need some oil, but if not, this will definitely ruin the overall aesthetic of this knife.
